Is it bad to use the same key word throughout a site

Wondering what other people's opinions are.

I have a niche site and am adding posts to it. Not necessarily to rank but to add to my blog and link back to my "money page". I want to do a series of posts on the specific niche but have heard that it is not always a great idea to use the same keyword for every post. Not in the sense of keywrod stuffing, but it is just natural to use that keyword when describing and talking about the subject.

Will this hurt my rankings?

Looking forward to the feed back.

    Do what is natural

would you talk to an individual that way, I don't think so.

so if you are making blog post do so like you would to other people make it interesting otherwise you give no value to keep people on the site or return

Exactly! You will get better results if it looks natural and not a site filled with keywords and no value to the people that land on it.

It's good to keep a single niche (not keyword) through out the blog, you can use sub keywords in a single niche.
Anyway, you can post about whatever you want but if you want targeted traffic and traffic that stay, then post about a single niche

No problem with single keyword. It won't hurt your ranking.

I heard google is emphasizing on regular updates on websites and google is no longer only care about individual page. It also cares about the whole site. This means if you don't update your site with quality contents, ranking might get hurt.

Now, the question is, are you ready to update your site on regular basis only with 1 single keyword???!!!

Well, using the same keywords on all of your
post will make it look like you are over optimizing.

Why not decide on a percentage to use, don't do 100%
but maybe 60-40 - 60% related keywords 40% your main
    keyword.

I am not sure I understand. Are you going to post about the exact same subject for each post? If you have a website in a certain niche, your posts may revolve around that topic. However, to post and target the same exact keyword over and over I would think would be a waste of time not to mention the fact that it won't help your rankings.

Great feed back. I kinda wrote my initial post wrong. I won't be using the keyword exactly in all the post.

For instance (and this isn't my niche, just using it as an example) if I wrote posts on the make money niche with posts including topics like:

"Best way to make money online"
"Things to do if you want to make money online"
"10 mistakes people make when trying to make money online"
      "How to make money online"
      etc.

The posts would be on different topics within the niche and on different subjects within the nich but all kind of centering around "make money online"

I figure if the content is good, and offers alot of useful information it should help me.

Again writing in a natural fashion and not stuffing keywords or looking spammy.

      Great feedback so far

Using same keyword everywhere can make you spammer so just try finding other synonyms for the keywrods that does works in your niche like picture recovery - image recovery- photo recovery etc.

You should use your keywords naturally through articles and other meaningful content that may entice people to follow your site. If the keyword is related to the post, it's okay to use. If the keyword is unrelated to the post, you should leave it out. You don't want your site to look cheap and full of SPAM.

If you use the same keyword/description at all pages..it means that you are duplicating the keyword/description. Its not a good practice...better not do the same, change the keyword and description.

I will not create any problem at all if it appear to be natural. For example, Android is the keyword for which your site is better ranked you can write on android games and android apps separately. This is pretty normal

If the keywords you are using fit in naturally then I don't see any problem. Just don't stick keywords into your pages just for the sake of getting your keywords in there, make sure it flows with the article.
