Is BANS still around... and what are other ebay type stores?

Build a Niche store was all the rage a few years ago.

What are some other Ebay-type affiliate feed stores around
now you Warriors really like?

Thx

Forget BANS. That product has been officially discontinued in terms of support. I'm currently using phpBay, but the customization is still very basic, IMO.
I've heard WPMeS and Wordbay are not too bad.

BANS is alright only if you can code so you can take out parts to clear the footprints

BANS is out and in my mind eBay's affiliate network is out as well. If you want to make real money with eBay, find a hot niche, contract with the sellers of the products in that niche, and sell away on eBay.

If you want affiliate income from tangible products, I think amazon is more profitable than eBay.

      Why do you think that?

I use both Amazon and eBay. eBay is harder to get accepted into their affiliate program now days but it's lucrative.

People write eBay off because they can't get into their affiliate program. Sort of like the fox and the grapes from Aesop's fable.

        Alan,

I didn't mean to claim that eBay's affiliate network is not a good way to make money anymore.

What I said in my post was: "in my mind eBay's affiliate network is out as well". What I mean by this is that using eBay's affiliate network is not something I do anymore. It is just not as profitable as other ways of making money online for me. Each person has his own experiences of course (which has a lot to do with the type of websites they have in their portfolio).

        To give you an example:

I have a niche website that contains reviews to some fairly expensive products. These products can only be purchased brand new. The least expensive product is $300. The amount of money I can make from eBay is no where near the amount of money I make from Amazon. In addition, eBay, for the niche I am in, is not very reliable when in comes to product availability.

Like I said, it varies for each person. I hope you get my point of view.
