Autoresponder service that will let you import e-mail addresses?

Anyone know of a service like Aweber that will let you import addresses? I have a source of completely legitimate addresses in my niche I can purchase but Aweber will not let me import them. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Barry

Sounds a bit shady. But what you could do is check out Email Marketing Service, Autoresponder, Bulk Sender | MyBizMailer or Email Marketing and Email List Manager | MailChimp. MailChimp is hands down my favorite of the 2 I just mentioned.

Another option is getting setting up ActiveCampaign and getting SMTPs from smtp.com. And add them into AC. And start mailing away.

The last one is definitely the more expensive option. But in my experience it gets the very best results.

Imnicamail will do an import...providing you have all of the relevant opt-in data.

Traffic Wave will...or at least it did when I used to use it.

    Barry,

Imnica Mail will allow you to import lists as long as you have the subscription date, and subscription IP address.

I'm a user of Mailchimp and recommend it. It will allow you to import lists. I will advise against purchasing a list though, it may sound like a good idea but may land you in a lot of trouble.

    Hi!

Mailchimp would be the way to go. Just keep in mind that users can find your messages as spam if they hadn't opt-in into your form.
    Anyway be cautious.

Mail services like aweber and other will never let you import purchased leads because such leads have very high bounce and complaint rate. If you want to import leads to aweber you must already have some relationship with your prospects, otherwise your bounce rate will go high. Mailchimp will close your acccount for 5% bounce rate on imported leads.

Thanks Everyone. And also, thanks for the notes of caution, I know what you mean about purchased lists and usually steer well clear of them. This one, I am certain, is legit.

I looked up MailChimp, and unless I'm reading something wrong, they are WAY more than Aweber.

I have uploaded lists to aweber from other services, I just had to prove to them they were double opt in from the previous service or else they required that they all opt in to this list or they couldn't stay on the list.

Constant contact, and the free email on fastpitchnetworking also allow uploads but again, if you get a lot of opt outs or spam reports, they will shut down the list.

Yes... MailChimp costs more because their deliverability is also a lot better. Plus they allow you to import your list. Which you can't with Aweber.

I did not have any positive experiences with Imnica. My emails constantly hit the spambox. And I wasn't satisfied with them at all.

For what you want, you need to either look at mailchimp, go selfhosted which is even more expensive, go for mybizmailer which is the cheapest option but not the best option.

Alternatively, you could learn how to set-up your own SMTPs, learn how to warm them up and keep them warm. Pain in the ass... but it's worth the learning curve if you go down this route. That's how I mail my coreg leads. With my own SMTPs.

I use mybizmailer.com, and suggest to give them a try. I started for a free trial with them and then upgraded and so far it is working for me. Good delivery rates too.

Constant Contact is likely your best option

They cost about the same as Aweber but the importing is very user friendly and their customer support is awesome. I have 30K leads currently at Constant Contact...

I also use Aweber and Imnica. Imnica will also allow you to import w/o confirmation if you have the IP address and what not.

Vertical response lets you import email lists, they might complain though. In that case you can setup and maintain your own SMTP service.

  • Like Coby said Constant contact lets you import a list if you already have one. But if Mail Chimp is free, i would check that out. I guess it depends on how many people are on your list. Good luck!

The nice thing about Constant Contact is the 60 day free trial. They didn't even ask me for a credit card when I signed up and I was able to import from my other opt-in lists.
