If you do a significant amount of marketing via intelligent, well written comments on high-PR sites, you're now eligible for Google link-juice on your backlinks! :-D

    I've wondered about Disqus and whether they have any value. I operate a news aggregator and was thinking about parsing out which of the articles allows comments. Then, every day, I will have a topical list of articles that are allowing comments.

    Seems like it would be valuable to the right person anyway.

    Google indexing Facebook Comment means more than link juice. Facebook Comments will take some places in the SERPs.... so your site will go down 1-2 positions... maybe more

    Facebook Backlinks count because Google gives importance to user created content. If you share a link on Facebook and that leads to some sort of viral content, google will want a share of it.
