Well I like it a lot.
The only things I would change is
    1. To make the sound of the scratching go with the movement go the coin, right now the same sound is played no matter how slow or fast I move the coin.
2.When you Win it should automatically jump to a page to reward you.

      Hi,

Thanks -- yes, actually it does allow you to jump to a reward page. Did you want to try out the full version?

      Thanks,

All in all it works well, the software provides plenty of options to allow you to congfigure everything. I did not try out the wizard, just not a wizard type of guy. Tutorial could be more complete, yes the software is easy to use an "pretty straight forward" but there are going to be users that just don't get it.

I would like to see it not tell the user if they won or lost until a percentage of the image was scratched. Also reveal complete card before jumping to destination.

Is there any limits on the amount of scratched images you can have per card?
I noticed that all of the %Chances for the cumulative cards does not have to add up to 100%, how do you handle the actual odds?

OK one other thing and IMHO this is a biggie! Don't make me go to my task manager and kill your program just because I do not want to give you an email! I understand list building, but, pop the screen ask for a sign-up but give the option to close without opting-in.

I completely agree. I just gave my 'junk' email address to close it down.

Hmm, thanks -- ok... How would you suggest doing that then? My concern is that most people will just 'automatically' close the button (because many people act on 'auto-pilot'), but if they realize they actually have to 'read' the text then they will either type something in or not...

I do not remember what the optin box said, but I would stress in the optin box that to receive updates and discounts on future software they should sign up. Give them an option of closing the box without signing up but, show the box every time they close. Or add a banner ad to the software promoting one of your other products, and offer to remove the banner if they sign up. Same could be done for a flash/loading screen.

Just don't make them feel trapped, or you will get a lot of resentment, or a lot of junk emails.

Jonathan, great concept! I'd like to try the full version to see it in all its glory.

On the demo, I used the wizard to set up and have a couple of constructive comments: 1) the wizard is not very self-explainatory - it was not clear how to select your image (I mean, I figured it out in 10 seconds, but there was nothing to direct me). Also, when I highlighted the text and tried to select "change font" it would not let me - not sure if i was doing something wrong but as soon as I clicked on change font, the highlight went away.

Overall, I see great promise for this and would love to try it on a few of my sites.

PS - I will add that I agree with the couple other folks that you dont want to do things that hold people hostage. Closing out of a program should take one click, not make anyone jump through hoops. Just a thought, i still like the program.

Same here, I'd like to test it out. I have no problem giving you a testimonial right away. Would prefer to test the full version though.

    PM me.

I tried it out, but when I tried to enter a bit longer line of text, it did not auto wrap. When I hit enter, reloaded image and applied text again, the align, ment of the second line of the text was off to the left on the second row of text. Quite a hassle to get it line up and then it game me a script out of range error : 9'
Then it exited, tried again and same result. I then tried again, and exited because I got annoyed only to get annoyed more by it asking me to send name and email and wait for 5 seconds or whatever to enable the close button. Bad pogram, real annoying. Thanks though for trying.

    Ok,

I've just sent a PM to you digimix, I will be sending the rest shortly to those who have requested/in the order (it seems this forum requires 5 minutes between private messages, so I will have to wait then until I can send off the next license)

Scratch and Win Game Scratch Off card maker to make instant scratch tickets

    Basically, in the review:
    a) Please go through the software (download it/use it/try it out), and let me know what you think of it (is it great? are there things you want added? how intuitive/easy is it to use? how would you use it in your own business?)
    b) If you think it is really great, and you want to give a testimonial, then that would be super as well. I would probably post those on the site, and if you had an actual website where you were using it, could probably post a link to that as well.

Anyways, let me know if you are interested, and I'll send full version license to the first 10 people.

    Thanks!

    Johnathan
Is my count wrong, or is there still an opportunity to get a copy of your software to review?

    Thanks!

If you haven't provided all 10 yet, then I'd love to review it for you. I have a few perfect ideas for your software.

    [EDIT]

WindowsXP gave me an error when installing the trial version.

    Run-time error '339.
Component 'Comdldg32.ocx' or one of it's depenencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.

I'll figure out the problem. Still interested in testing and reviewing for you. Let me know.

    Thx.

If you're not filled up, I'd like to give it a try! In a former "life" I did web site testing and would love to help you with this software!

I'm working on a portal site right now and would use this to attract customers for clients who advertise through the portal!

Would make % off coupons from participating Local companies most of the prizes!

That is a clever idea! you could get allot of potential exits to opt in if they feel they are getting something for free.
not usually the kind of people you'd wanna work with but the longer you can keep people on your page to brand yourself as the professional the more likely you are to generate more sale. How much dose the full version coast? and you do get to select what the tickets say correct?!!

    thanks,

    Hi,

Thanks so far for the feedback. Ok -- I've sent out a few PM's -- but it seems that you can only send 1 PM per 5 minutes (which is a bit annoying )... So if you haven't gotten one yet, please use this contact form:

HotHotSoftware.com! Contact us page to contact us about custom design requests, software information and more!

and include your "warrior" name (and/or real name if you like ) and your e-mail address, with "scratch and win/warrior" in the first line of the body text and I'll send a license through that.

    Thanks,

I haven't tested this script, but might I suggest using either a slide-up for the opt-in offer, or a form right on the site, if there's room?

There is reason to think that pop-ups don't covert as well as static or less intrusive forms of opt-in devices.
