Adsense Sites-Real Money?

I see claims on offers to build adsense sites and make X dollars per day. So those claims are between .50 cents to $300 per day. What is the truth? Can sites really make big bucks with adsense ads?

Now maybe being a newb I may not be wording this question properly but how much of a site page needs to be dedicated to adsense ads? One ad, two ads, 10% of the page, 50 % of the page?? What cuts it?

As I am sitting here I am thinking about costs. First you pay for the site building, then you pay for the domain, then hosting charges, ( do you pay a hosting charge per site? ), then article writing and back linking charges providing you need to outsource them. Really can add up.

So is there some type of method to use to making a success with these sites?

Adsense ads tend to pull visitors away from a site, so deciding whether to add adsense is a question of economics.

Yes, you can absolutely make money with Adsense. You just need a lot of traffic. I made $21,000 in Adsense last month with about 4 million visitors to my website.

That's the most I've heard of people making with Adsense these days.

So obviously it is possible- personally Adsense isn't my main business model, but without trying too hard I built up a $30-$40 per day site.

The hardest thing is getting enough traffic to make good $$$

Well there are tons of products/courses/Warrior Forum posts on the subject, so I won't go into details. Everyone does it differently.

What happened with me is I had a one year old domain that wasn't doing anything. I put an autoblog on it that would pull content from other sites and post it on my site.

After about a month or 2, I noticed it was getting decent traffic. I did some keyword research, found a few that got good volume, made LONG posts for them, and built backlinks.

Within like 3 weeks they were ranking on page 1 and bringing me about 1K visitors a day.

Again though, there are several ways to do it. Personally I don't like Adsense all that much, but it's obviously working well for some people!

Which methods do you prefer? How does someone like get started on something like this? I know there are a lot of products/threads out there about this, but there are way too many threads, and I have been warned to not waste my money on WSOs as a lot of them are not worth the money and time?

Frankly, that sucks for that amount of traffic. You should be making twice, if not four times that amount easily. What are you doing, hiding the ads from your visitors, lol?

You can make money with adsense as many people did but the thing is, you'll never know how long you can hold on to your account. I stopped doing adsense years ago and concentrated on other business models - those ones I can control 100%.

It is entirely possible to make a great deal of money from Adsense. Even after your costs, you can still build up to earning a nice profit. Don't let that be your only income stream, however, and be sure to always follow the rules.

Well, mini AdSense sites did take a hit after the Google Panda Update. But it is still a great way to make your website profitable if you're aiming to build a brand. Create an authority site or a blog that really matters.

Those bull**** adds are all fake.. Though you will get some amount of money on every click, but that money would be so small that it might take decades to make that worthy..

Hey look everybody, it's Negative Nancy! LOL. So apparently I MUST be hallucinating when I open my adsense account report page and see that just ONE site, out of 400+, topped out at a little over $3000 last month. Sure, it is a Halloween themed site that is only 2 years old, but I can assure you..the money is not small nor did it take decades to make it worthy.

To answer the OP, yes, adsense sites can still bring in real money. Truth be told, this was one of my set and forget it sites I built 2 years ago. No new content had been added since it was built..but I did keep up with the backlinking here and there.

      Where's your panda now?

Yes you can very easily make adsense income on sites. Its a great way to bring in a passive income.
I have over 100 sites all of which I have written content done some SEO work and got them ranked in Google. They now bring me in money each and every month without me having to do anything further.
Some bring in more than others but it results in a pretty sweet little pile of money!
    Just my 2c

Do you mind digging a little deeper into this? I am planning on doing the exact same thing and would love to know what the income expectation would be. Can you go over what your highest earning site brings in per day as well as what all of your sites bring in on average?
I am currently targeting keywords with 5000 monthly searches, with CPC roughly $1.00 and competition of less than 100,000. I am just putting together my 5 sites right now (just started building backlinks on one of them last night). What do you target?

Can you go over the format of your sites a little bit?

      • Are they static sites? If so, how many articles per site?
      • Do you use any type of autoblogging software (WP-Robot, etc)
      • Do you own all EMD or do you use stop words at the end of your keywords as well (IE. Now)
      • Do you find more success using the top 3 domain extensions (.com/.net/.org) or do you use others as well (.info)
      • Do you ever use hyphens in your EMD?

Thanks, hearing stories like yours is what keeps me motivated

Money can be made with Adsense without a doubt.

Most of my online income comes from Amazon commissions on high ticket items, but I earn from $300 to $400 a month from Adsense.

        Traffic is crucial.

I usually get EMDs and use .com, .net, or .org (in that order of preference) However, if the competition is fairly weak on the first page of SERP (at least 1 or 2 sites which are PR0 or I see an ezinearticle, hubpage, squidoo or yahoo answer) then having an EMD is less important and you can add something like data or info or hq to the end of the domain.

Also - use allintitle:keyword to see how many results you get in the SERP and if it is less than 1,000 results, then an .info would most likely be sufficient to get on the first page with some light bookmarking and backlinks. There are lots of good gigs on Fiverr for those tasks.

        Hope that helps. Good luck.

Unless you just really want someone to create the sites for you, you should ignore the income claims. Building Adsense sites is like building any other site. Unless you promote it and get top position in search for high paying Adsense keywords and have a lot of traffic going to them, they will make nothing.

Adsense is normally good for very high traffic sites, or if you have a ton of them out there all earning a small amount per day.

You can certainly make decent money with adsense, but like with any business I will take work. It wont happen over night, and it will take a lot of elbow grease. You will either have to build sites that get massive amounts of traffic, or play the numbers game and build bunches of smaller sites. Both will require time and patience to build up to a decent income level.

@nicolas simpson - My main source of traffic is from Google. I created an enormous amount of content that matches what people are looking for. Over time, the volume of traffic from the search engines just built and built.

@jeffrys - Like I said, I focus my efforts on SEO. Bring in the search visitors, and they turn into Adsense revenue.

Never ever buy adsense sites here or in flippa. The claims are not 100% real.. Even though it is 100% real, the adsense income gradually falls..

The seller would have all cylinders firing up to show peak revenue so you will buy it.. Slowly one by one is taken off by the seller and you see reducing revenues.

It is like buying stocks at all time higher prices.. Obviously the prices will fall down unless you are equipped to bring it up or maintain at that level...

High CTRs, High CPC claims are all not practical, from my real experience..I've lost money in it.. Please some one use my experience..

But you can expect decent $$ from adsense sites if the site is fresh and has some google traffic.
The money you make is directly proportional to your effort...

Expect something like 1 cent per 4/5 page views. So more page views more cents..

    Thanks
