ROTFL - I was going to say that, too.

Oscar, since 2 people had the same idea right away, why not have a spoof site - about exes and such?

You would have to be careful with what people post, but it could be a lot of fun.

Are there any videos available that you could promote as an affiliate? Books?

What about products like scorpions encased as paperweights or something?

Dan's content is irregularly read by handfuls of people. Join the elite few by reading his blog: dcrBlogs.com, following him on Twitter: dcrTweets.com or reading his fiction: dcrWrites.com but NOT by Clicking Here!

Dan also writes content for hire, but you can't afford him anyway.

      Hi Oscar,

My first thought was an educational site. Maybe centered around middle school to high school ages.

Another idea is to tie this in with the travel niche. People going to exotic places, or even parts of the US for example, where there are dangerous creatures they need to be aware of, ie - how to identify them, tracks, possible hiding places, etc.

Could very well become an authority site....a go to site.

      All the best,

      Kevin

I was going to say that if my boys (ages 12, 7, and 4) ran across a site called Deadliest Creatures and it was about freaky animals in the world, they'd hang out on your site all day. Especially if there were vids.

Of course, they don't have credit cards or Paypal accounts yet, so not sure how much that helps

No, but Mom does, so maybe educational stuff is the way to monetize it.

Even a monthly membership site for access to educational info. Maybe?

I agree, dad has credit card too,

my son loves Thomas Train since he saw one in Costco. Soon, our house is occupied by the train and all his friends. well, I'm not sure it is a good thing or not, but those guys sure know how to market to children.

As others have said, this would be a fantastic kid's site. That's what sprung to mind when I saw your domain.

There's a book - can't remember the name - that's been a bestseller for decades ... that is about bugs and geared to kids.

Do some research on Amazon, or talk to a librarian. Visit the local school and talk to somebody who teaches biology at elementary school level.

Make an authority type site - fun, interactive, educational. How to monetize? Traffic ='s advertising. Your own products. Ask the 'expert' - some sort of identification/consultation.

Remember the Crocodile Hunter ... he did well. People love weird and scary.

You could have a kid's section and an adult/educator's section.

Great Domain Name. Good luck with it!
