Sweet! Looks good , i would suggest trying to find a good music download affiliate and or music affiliate program in general that would have some suited products to place on your site.
Also def try and work on building up your subscribers with the email opt in ( offer a free news letter/downloads/news etc )

i strongly believe people that have the most success are the ones doing what they love
    best of luck

I think iTunes has an affiliate programme doesn't it?

Perhaps you can link to songs as and when you mention them.

I've not had any experience with it but perhaps some other Warriors have?

You might also want to try CPA, cost per action. Music is a big attraction for young people who also like "Ipads" Iphones" ringtones and dating, just some of the offers you can send people to via a CPA network.

    Hi Kelly,

As an Im'er and blues musician i can tell you that it has a huge market and high payouts as well doing CPA offers, I know that CB has also a few good guitars courses that you can promote.

Known guitar brands have their affiliates that are making good money, hard to be accepted but worth the efforts.

I would also do a search on uTube where you'll be able to contact music schools/academies especially guitars and to get in direct contact and contracts for your blog promotions but you must increase the traffic, content syndication, FB, bookmarks etc.

    Cheers,
    Ziki

I second the CPA freebie offers (usually zip submit). For young people, free iPhones, iPads, etc., contests, free ringtones, play online games, etc. Those will convert well for you and pay out at $1.50 to over $10 per action. That can really add up. Ditto on the newsletter. Keep the same eyeballs coming to the site really increases the probability of a sale. Also, (don't take this the wrong way), you have an advantage in that you are an attractive young lady and you can sell T-shirts with your image and website url. Guys like that sort of stuff. Also, even if you can't sell the tees, you can give them away in a contest. Hope this helps. Think out of the box. Get a new box.

I would suggest visiting some job forums to learn what IMs are doing and in need of - provide some services to get started!

A suggestion on your home page layout. Your adsense gets lost on the right hand column flanked by your main content on one side and "recent posts" on the other.

Suggest you move your adsense to left column, your navigation to the right with your recent posts below the navigation.

That move alone might increase your adsense earnings. Try it for a few weeks and see - you have nothing much to lose.

I would use Best Buy's or Amazon's affiliate program, because there you can find CDs, MP3 players, radios, "how to" books (like guitar lessons), drums, guitars, amps and tons of other things that you can easily promote on a website like yours.

I definitely agree with the CPA methods. The conversions are actually very high because it is usually email or zip submits, so people usually eat it up

You can link to amazon.com in their music category, CB for ebooks about music and itunes is the best choice too.

depending on what page rank your site is and what your monthly unique visitors are, I would dump the Adsense and sell your own advertising.
I can tell you that (based on my own experience)if you have a good site, you can earn a few hundred dollars a month from only 10-15 advertisers.
Why earn pennies (from Adsense) when you can earn dollars?

I would also go with affiliate offers...again for the same reason. Go with affiliate offers that pay you at least 25% commission.

My feeling is this: it takes the same amount of effort to promote an Adsense site as it does for a site that has it's own advertisers and affiliate offers...but the rewards for the latter are far better.

I wish you every success with your online promotion and your website.

    Hey Kelly,
You can also set up an affiliate account with magazines.com. They have great music mags, books, and other publications in their store.
