One of the smartest way to build your list!!

Helo warriors ,

We all know that the money is in the list.

This last week I learned a very nice way to build your list.

You use Rapbank , and list your squeeze page , offering something valuable , eBooks , PLR .... and after they sing up , you have OTO (one time offer) and you set this offer to 100% commission .

In that way , you will have a lot of affiliates who will drive traffic to your website , to get the 100% instant commission on OTO , while at the same time you are building your list .

I think it is a smart way , but to do that you need to own RAP script (Rapid Action Profit ) , it is quite expensive , but worth the price .

I did not do that yet , but thinking seriously about that in the future.

Hope that helps

What a great idea. I got RAP profits and only listed one ebook on it and even at 50% profit, it is selling without any work from me.

I am going to go do this now.

Yup that will definitely work. Giving affiliates 100% commission is a great way to build up a buyers list fast.

That's a very good idea, nadal619. Will this work the same with the $7 Dollar Script - if you set commissions to 100%?

If it does, it's cheaper, because the $7dollar script is only $7.

You are right on there! The money is in the list but just having a big list is not the most important part. Its building a relationship with the list and adding value. NOT just a bunch of spam affiliate offers. If you bombard your list with offers and add no real value its only a matter of time before your subscribers "UNSUBSCRIBE" or stop opening your emails.

    1. Add value
    2. Don't overdo the affiliate offers

Best of luck to you all!

Create a Facebook fanpage and write notes about affiliate products in your niche with good content, pictures and use HTML with you affiliate link. Once these notes are indexed by Google and the main search engines watch the traffic come to your website. You'll not only get new signs up because of your good content, but you'll also get affiliate sales and create a WIN WIN situation

This sounds good in theory, but it is not good in reality.

The only people that will bite on that are inexperienced affiliate marketers that won't likely be able to drive lots of traffic in the first place.

Experienced marketers will not go for that because they do not want to mail out to build your list. Affiliate marketers want to send people direct to money pages, not a page that benefits only you and then the visitor is taken to a money page.

Most affiliate marketers won't even promote a salespage that has an optin form anywhere on it, let alone just a squeeze page that acts as a gateway to the salespage. These are leaks in the process and good affiliate marketers don't like leaks.

Brian hit this right on the head. He is right. The only people who will be willing to do this are inexperienced affiliates.

Why would they send traffic to your squeeze page when there are other affiliate programs out there that will send them straight to the buy page? That's another step that visitors would need to do (opt-in, and then see the offer).

      Great input Brian.

The idea sounds good on paper, but it's just not realistic.

      Regards,

Once again Brian nails this. If you want the really successful marketers to promote your products then switch the plan a bit. Send them directly to the Sales Page first. Then, after they buy and they go to the Thank-You/Download page, offer them the freebie product with an opt in.

You wont get the amount of optins doing it this way but you will get more experience marketers promoting your stuff so you should make it up in volume.

    Actually....

The money is in YOUR AFFILIATES' lists.

If I have a list of 1,000 prospects, with an open rate of 35% (or choose your own number), which gets 350 people to a sales page that converts at 3% - I'll sell 11 copies of whatever.

If I am mailing for my own product, I gross 11 times the selling price of my product.

If I am mailing as an affiliate for someone else's product, and my commission rate is 50%, my earnings will be roughly 5.5x the selling price of the product.

If, on the other hand, I have a list of 100 affiliates, who each have a list of 1,000 prospects, and I can incentivize them sufficiently to mail my offer to their lists, and we assume that each of them performs as above...
    1. I will sell about 1100 copies of the product
    2. I will pay out an amount equal to 550x the price of the product, in commissions
    3. leaving me with roughly 450x the selling price of the product.

And... I didn't have to build a list of 1,000 prospects - much less a list of 100,000 prospects. My affiliates did that.

Of course, that all assumes that you can create a product that people will buy, that you can create a sales page that converts at that rate, and that you are willing to do what is necessary to cultivate that list of 100 affiliates and motivate them sufficiently to get them to perform for you. If you can, you might think about channeling your efforts in that direction, instead.

To really appreciate the difference, fabricate a selling price for some imaginary product that you may one day sell. Put that price into the various scenarios above, and do the math.

It is still possible to build a list by asking affiliates to send traffic to a sales page. Just make sure that you capture their emails after they buy.

An alternative to RAP is Jon Leger's $7 dollar script. Recently a Wordpress plugin came out - Wordpress Affiliate Platform that allows you to manage and track your affiliates.

Here's how to maximize the traffic and effectiveness of this technique...

Create some cool banners and find other marketers that would be willing to put it on their download page as a "free bonus" while also receiving 100% commissions on the sales they make...

Alternatively - you can swap banners with someone else and both gain subscribers and earn 100% commissions I have this setup with a few marketers and it works for us both as we continue to build our lists while monetizing our download pages...

You can also accomplish this feat using DigiResults, SimpleOneClick, PaySpree, and some others...

    Cheers,

As E. Brian said, most serious affiliates abhor sending traffic to sales pages with opt-in forms on them. If someone spends either time, energy, or "mailing capital" to send visitors to a sales page and the product vendor is working hard on draining the visitors to their list... it kind of leaves a sour taste in one's mouth.

Five or six years ago virtually every IM related product on Clickbank had an in-line form or pop-up on their sales page to grow their list. Today you'd be hard pressed to find even one like that.

And even the vast majority of exit capture "pop-ups" don't lead to a squeeze page-at least not the first one. Usually the first exit capture page leads to a down-sell, usually the same base product at a lower price. Then, they often have a lead capture stacked after the first down-sell. This keeps affiliates happier because their interest is in generating a commission, not in building the vendor's list.

Short Take: The harder you work to help your affiliates earn, the more likely it is you'll get bigger affiliates. --Mike

In my impression, not all affiliates, but the most of them don't like squeeze pages or sales pages with opt-in when they're choosing a vendor.

Maybe this is not 100 % relevant here,

but what about redirecting the visitors to a squeeze page AFTER they have purchased the product? (I mean in terms of attracting affiliates)

And what about redirecting visitors to a squeeze page if they try to exit from the sales page? (I mean in terms of attracting affiliates)

    As they say,

having a list of people is ok

have a list of buyers is like having a ATM in your backyard, and pure gold. So remember this.

I'm certain that when you try to capture exiting visitors, it's also good for your affiliates, provided you are don't now presell with your own affiliate link. That's cheating them of their commissions.

But when you have a blatant squeeze page opt in form right on the salespage, no serious affiliate will consider promoting for you.
