can you please give me your opinion on my header & whether i should change it

its attached as a jpeg.

any suggestions or changes? i feel that its a bit plain or needs something but im not sure what.

    It's got some out of focus parts to it, as though you used low resolution pictures. That is what is detracting from it in my humble opinion. I like the idea but it could be crisper.

    • I personally like it. I like the colors. The REI Goldmine does look a little bit blurry to me too.
    • I agree, it is a little out of focus but otherwise seems fine to me. I don't think too many consumers spend a lot of time looking at the header. They are more interested in your content and what you have to offer.

    • Go to create a free professional text graphic. I use it all the time. The "cool metal" logo looks really professional. Not my site, just a cool resource for graphics.

    The blurriness bothers me. I like to see crisp text and graphics.
  • Its kind of blurry in spots. Gives me an annoying, or "somethings not right" feeling when I look at it. I don't know if you want that feeling in people even if its on some low subconscious level, do you?
  • ..you could use photoshop to smooth out some of the red stuff around the writting as well.

    • Kind of looks like the individual images you used to make the header got kind of tweaked with artifacts when you made them the size they are now. If they were clipart to start with and kind of on the small size 80x80 or 100x100 that could produce the artifacts around the edges.

    I agree that it is a little blurry. Also agree with retsced that cooltext is a good resource for some quick graphics
