I need help with my website, it's been up & running for about 7 months but yet I haven't made no $$!

Well, I checked out your site and jumped off of it right away.

I would not start with a video, personally. My mentors say text sales letters convert much better than video.

Also, I would suggest you start with a headline about the problems people face from having a bad memory and then how you can improve it.

With all the work you have done, I bet your stats show hits to your site but that people bounce off of it quickly----am I right?

You need a better converting sales page with better copy, IMHO.

it loads slow. big time turn-off for a lot of people.

general layout could use a lot of improvements. mostly a cleaner, more user friendly flow but your flow (ads up top -> free gift reminder, you wrote "here" twice though) is pretty good

sorry to break it to you but the adspace from this site probably won't be enough to cover full-time expenses. it's really difficult to make that much from one site's advertisements alone but your attitude towards your site is great.

get or make a product that you can readily and quickly market. "The 10 Biggest Memory Secrets...ever." Do a little sales page research (it's easier than sales page salesmen want you to believe it is...guess why?) and whip up a $1-3 ebook and you should be getting somewhere.

People like buying things, and they like giving. If they like you and you have something awesome to offer them they will go out of their way to help you. Advertisements are a numbers game.

Do the keywords that you are targeting have high search traffic? Say in the range of 1,000 to 3,000+.. If not, that might explain your low number of daily visitors. How's your site going in terms of Adsense earnings?

The site looks like complete chaos. For starters, give the page some structure - perhaps make it 2 columns, with an opening post on the left and in the right column put, some of the ads, the article and games link (put links instead of that drop down box thing), also put that clickbank tab in the right column.

Replace the graphic at the opt of the page which displays the name of your site and simply links back to itself, with an <h1> tag (since there's none in your header).

The first 3 sentences essentially say the same thing - pick one and lose the rest. Under that put some nicely formatted sales copy using a single uniform font size. Your top copy is in 4 different font sizes, making it difficult to read.

Instead of that teeny tiny link for the free gift at the bottom of your first paragraph that links to a completely different page - put an opt in box to right of your opening sales letter.

I'd lose the local time at the top - nobody will care about that and it just contributes to the clutter.

You can keep the video, but I'd lose the chat box - that will never get used on this type of site.

The copy 3/4 of the way down page is good - I'd move that to the top as the first text they see - it gives value and your visitors are much more likely to hang around if you give them something other that a barrage of ads to click on.

Lose the google map at the bottom of the page - it shows a plumber, a lawyer and a towing company??

That would be my first pass of changes. Please don't take any of this as negative. I think it is phenomenal that you're taking action and doing something. You've got all the pieces, they just need a little organization. Keep at it!

Checked out your website and see there is alot of noise.
There is links everywhere and its seems kind of confusing.

Also you should use a tool like Popup Domination to help you
build your list. Building your list is very important also i would
remove the adsense ads. Unless you are getting massive amounts
of traffic having adsense ads isn't worth it.

Look I'm not going to mince my words. You likely aren't ever going to sale a thing on your site. Why?

You don't have a thing on there that presells what you are offering. No doubt your an affiliate for the products and simply took the banners, videos and other stuff and simply put it on your site. You went for the FLASH and no substance.

I would suggest you spend some time researching your competitions sites, especially the top ten. Check out the helpful information they have and how they have it laid out. Chances are you will see they build a "trust factor" into their site. Frankly nothing on your site has the "trust factor" in my opinion.

You seem to be trying to earn through SEO which is a long term process. Same time it's an uncertain process. You may succeed in one site and you may fail in another. Nobody can confirm when your site will be indexed and when it'll get a good ranking. Above all, the traffic you are seeing in keyword research tool of google is not exactly the traffic in reality. It may be more or less.

Conversion through SEO is very tricky. To boost your conversion and earn money you must need highly targeted, high volume of traffic.

Recently I've read a great post of a senior forum member. I don't have the link. But I copied and pasted the whole post. I'll posting a part of it here. It's about traffic generation technique.


P.S. Don't get frustrated and - learn and try. Nobody knows everything. Everybody is earning through trial and error. You can't stuck yourself in one single site. In the mean time get another job to have money.

P.P.S. Build your list with free gift-opt in. See what successful people are doing and follow the same way. Remember, the money is on the list. NOT EXACTLY IN SEO ALL THE TIME.

I do not think there is anything I can add about your site but you need to rethink the full time seo thing until you actually have enough money coming in.

Seriously the words "I quit my job" and "I have no clue" should never ever be used together.

There are 168 hours in a week, take out 40 for working, 56 for sleeping, another 21 for misc stuff (3 hours a day) and you still have 40 hours a week to work on your online business. There is absolutely no reason to quit your day job before you have enough money coming in.

Why don't you try and get some lead generation on there and capture emails. I will say you may need to revamp the copy a bit but also the traffic. Quickest way is Paid traffic but if you do not have the capital it is consistency on the Articles and everything else that makes free traffic work. What about video's, have you tried that?

Excellent topic to Blog about as well...Blogs are the darlings of Search Engines!! Just make sure you Blog stays focused with fresh content networked with the sales page and don't forget the Email Capture form for News letters!

Echoing what the others have said, plus I'd lose the Adsene. It is very distracting, and unless your keywords pay a ton, you're losing visitors and possible list subscribers (when you get an opt-in form) for a few pennies. If you keep it, id relocate it so it doesn;t distract from your main message.

You can't just depend on 1 site to make a living. Build other sites around other niches.
