Opt-In for Free Video - Help, please!

I am in the process of setting up a squeeze page to start building a list with the offer for access to a free video. I am going to be using Aweber to collect and use for the autoresponder.

There are a couple of questions I am hoping that my fellow warriors can help me with:

1) Where would be the best place to host the video?

2) Would the way to do this be: create a passworded site (in WP) and direct the visitor to the page with a password through the autoresponder email once they opt in?

I hope I am asking the right questions... if not, I would appreciate any suggestions or any other advice you may have.

    Host you video on one of your own pages using a subdomain would be the best choice.

    I prefer having the person sign in and get the video or whatever in the first email that way, I can tell them what else I will be giving them as a subscriber before they get the link to what ever the offer is.

    I do a lot of video marketing. A couple things to be aware of to save you money when you are setting everything up.

    1) Secure your video to your domain. otherwise you may get people embedding your video on their site and then using your bandwidth

    2) Look up streaming vs. progressive downloads. If you are getting a lot of repeat visitors you can save cost by using progressive downloads.
