What is the best method to get targeted traffic?

I've been trying different methods to get some traffic to my site, unluckily not very successful there yet.

So far I can't really tell which method is really working well for me. I'm a newbie in the SEO, Internet marketing business and such.

I just wanted an opinion on;

Is article marketing the best way to get targeted visitors? if not then what's the best way working well for you?

If you're an expert in this I'll really appreciate some advice!

    - Article Marketing
    - Blogs
    - Landing Pages (SEO/organic traffic)
    - Email Marketing (buy a list and email to it)
    - Joint Ventures (JV) or List Swaps

  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) or getting ranked in the organic listings of the search engines (left side of the page when doing search) is the single best way because not only is it free, but people who are looking for specific products and typing in keywords at the end of the buying cycle are more likely to buy because they have already been exposed to the product and just need a nudge in the right direction. Article marketing is part of SEO.

    Hard to master, but dominating when mastered.
