How To Create Credit Invoice In PayPal?

If i just want to credit some of the amount back to buyer, how can i do that so it will appear as business expense? Do i need to create invoice or just send money? Same thing with partial refund.

To make it easier to understand, i want buyer to invoice me but in such a way that it would look rather credit than invoice and i can just click on a button and pay that amount instead of sending money to buyer. Invoice is better because i can describe there what i am crediting, number of items, price, discount etc.

    Go to the PayPal transaction where they paid you, there you will see an option to refund. You are not obliged to refund the full amount, you can enter any amount you wish.

      Sorry i did not clarify this one, but the original transaction was done outside of PayPal.
