The Fastest Way To $10 A Day-From Scratch?

Hi. I'm wondering what the fastest method would be (in your opinion) to make just a few bucks a day. I've recently gained a few medical bills, and I've figured out that if I could just make $10 extra each day, that in addition to my job, I'd get by by the end of each month.

I know it's not exact, I'm just wanting something fairly simple that can be setup quickly. I'm thinking about offering a couple services to Warriors, as there are 2 or 3 things I'm fairly good at. I'm currently working on getting into CPA promotion, but with fanpages since I don't have money to invest right now, but that's going to really take some time to build.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Fiver.com!!!! All you really need to do is 3 gigs a day and you'll make 10 a day. It's that simple really. But that's not really for those willing to make the big bucks, but it's a good start

        You are right Wow! It is a very nice list that doesn't mention Poker which I would not suggest gambling anyway. People get hooked to that sort of thing, so do not gamble.

          If you do decide to, start by learning Holdem first then Blackjack and not the reverse. It easier for a professional Poker player to adapt to a numbers game like BlackJack rather than vice-versa.

    Personally, I wouldn't go with Fiverr. More people log on there every single day and its tough to get your ad seen without outside influence (posting it on Facebook, articles, etc.)

    Instead, offer services on the Warrior Forum.

    If you have $20, put up a Warriors for Hire ad for a service you can offer. If you don't, use a free website like Weebly and link to it in your signature.

    If you write for the dirt cheap rate of $1/100 words in articles, you can write 2 articles @ 500 words per day and make that extra $10.

    There is lot of ways to make $10/Day but you really need to stick with a passive earning method, here is a method that i am using to make over $180/Day for FREE TRAFFIC.

    1.Pick up a niche

    2. Select a product in the niche

    3. Create a "How to" Video on the chosen niche

    4. Upload that to YouTube but use Tags that are used in the popular videos in that niche

    5. Use your affiliate link in the description though don't forgot to insert a curious message at the end of the video , you can use like "Click the Link in the description to 'Your Niche' "

    6. Rinse & Repeat

      $10 dollars a day.....seems like a reasonable target. I'm planning on using this model to retire my day job, by using the "rinse and repeat" method until I have enough niche websites to cover my current salary.

        I would say sell a service in the Warrior for Hire section. If your service is in demand and you have a killer sales letter you can make much more than $10 a day. Also don't forget to link to your sales thread in your sig.

        This might be a good idea, but I would not put all my eggs in one basket. I have heard that YouTube has started deleting a lot of product review videos, and money making niche videos, so I would be careful with it.

        However, fiverr.com, by far, has been my fastest and biggest income since I joined three months ago. Fiverr gets a enormous amount of traffic - the real hint to success there, (even though that is not passive income), is to take some time browsing through the site and seeing what other gigs have made the most sales and are popular.

        But be careful, do not pick the ones that hundreds of other people are doing as well. Try to make yours unique, and offer just a bit more or better stuff than your competition. And most of all, great customer service/communication will get you return buyers and excellent feedback.

      I think I'll give this a try - sounds good, thanks. Point "3.", should that be "Create a "How to" Video on the chosen product" rather than niche? Presumably you don't worry about keywords or anything, since you don't mention that anywhere?

    I'd personally go for article writing. You'd only have to write 2 articles at 500 words each, earning $0.01 per article in order to hit your $10. I know I used to do it in high school and I'd be able to do that in around 45 minutes to an hour.

    Month 1. Walk down any business street in your town and offer each and every restaurant, pet shop, beauty shop, barber shop, antique shop, car dealer, insurance agency, (everyone, get the picture?) to put up a simple website and to host it for an entire year for only $400, half down and half when the job is completed.

    When you get a customer, and you will get a customer, go home and spend some of your money to get a hostgator reseller account, buy the domain and set up the webpage. If you don't know how to build a simple webpage hire someone from the Warrior Forum to do it for you.

    You will spend less than $100 to get started so you will have at least $100 still in your pocket. Go back and collect your other $200.

    with $300 for the first month you now have 28 days to do what you want to do.

    Month 2. Write an eBook on how you did month one. Include details on how many calls you made before getting your first customer, what you said in your sales pitch and all the other factors that made you successful in month one.

    Put up A WSO on "How I made my first $400 in offline marketing."

    Sell it for $3.50 and make 100 sales.

    That takes care of month two.

    Month 3. Write an eBook on "How a complete newbie can make some pocket change with their first WSO. Sell it as per month 2.

    That takes care of month 3.

    By the fourth month you will be more successful than many "Internet Marketers" and you can rinse and repeat 1. 2. and 3. above or your mind will be exploding with other ideas that will make you much more than $300 a month. My guess is it will be the "or..."

      I've been guilty of experiencing the latter... "exploding with other ideas" as opposed to establishing a simple approach as outlined above.

      I think the OP has set a reasonable goal, and a reachable one with a little elbow grease and some applied effort. Here I "told myself" I wasn't going to login to WF today.

        I agree with some of the PP here. I would only add that the best place to try online to write for immediate money is Textbroker. Start an account and submit a really well-written 400-word sample. They'll rate you from Level 1 - Level 5. No one really gets a Level 5 rating. Most of the work is on Level 2 or 4. Obviously, the higher the level the better the pay.You pick your assignments and write them. Submit, get approved, get paid. That simple.

        2 articles a day can get you about $10- $12 a day in an hour tops.

        @ George Wright: That idea is brilliant. I wish I had the guts to go up and down my street and talk to business owners because that is definitely something I could do. Guess I like the anonymity of the Internet better though. Oh well.

      George is absolutely correct about offline marketing. The old door to door face to face thing works great.

      Have a flier with you or a card.
      Leave your card where ever you go.
      At least once a month I get a call from someone who said they found my card. Now the interesting thing about this is the average person seems to hold onto my card six months before calling. So don't stop, you'll see future benefits of leaving your card all over the place as well as immediate calls.

      Put a QR code on your card. About half the people don't know what it means, but it will give you that high-tech look. QR codes can be made at computerhelp808.com or any other wp blog that uses that plugin for traffic.

      Don't forget when you get calls tracking is just as important offline as online. Where do you think online got the idea? Always ask how people found out about you whether they buy or not.

    Actually, while I'm not much of an offline marketer, one thing that I tried that actually led to some unexpected results was

    1. Simply go through and manually scrape names and email addresses from Google Places and Yellow Pages
    2. Get up to about 100 contacts or leads
    3. Whip together a very personal sounding email saying that you've put together an Internet marketing business plan or SEO audit or something (whatever you want to offer) for them
    4. Make sure you finish the email on a question (eg: Does this sound like something you'd be interested in? Am I talking to the right person? Is there a better email address for me to send this to? What are your current online advertising efforts? Do you see a good return on your Yellow Pages investment?)
    I did about 3 batches of 100 leads like this and got about 10 responses from interested business owners, so about a 3% conversion. Not bad at all. You just have to make sure you're not tripping any spam filters so they actually SEE your emails.

    Some of them took a couple months to hear back from, but I imagine if you made a point to do this every day until you have your first customer, then once a week after that then you'd find yourself with a pretty solid source of income before too long.

    Of course, I personally realized after about 3 months of working with clients that offline is NOT for me, but each to their own I guess.

    Hope this helps...Lots of great responses in this thread, so you've got lots of choices. Make sure you don't spend too much time idling in decision mode. Just get out there and start doing something.

    By $10 a day, you should be looking at $300 a month. My best bet, go sell a service, preferably article writing, on a freelance site. You can easily earn more than $300 a month and still have time to run a couple of niche sites, etc. One good thing about this is that as people are buying from you, you can actually learn from what they are doing with your services.

    What I am going to do is suggest that the very question "How can I make $10 a day" is one of the most dangerous things anyone who is planning to make money online can ask.

    $10 a day is nothing. It really is. Anyone with half an entrepreneurial brain can make that with a small amount of application and a willingness to follow simple instructions without trying to second-guess and adapt them.

    But what asking that deceptively simple question does is programs your mind into thinking that $10 is firstly, a challenge (which it is not) and secondly, a ceiling that you should aspire to.

    If you must set yourself a mental limit on your own potential, at least set it high enough to matter! Preferably, though, don't accept, or train your brain, that you have any limits at all!

    If you spend your efforts on penny-ante schemes to make a derisory $10 a day, you'll miss out on the many opportunities that arise that can easily pull in $1000 or more in the same 24 hours - and often for a lot less effort!

    I don't know how many $1000 days I've had - too many to count - but I do know that I wouldn't have had any of them if my brain was focused on making just 1% of that sum.

    Internet marketing is a strange business. The reward to effort ratio is not linear. Effort and action are necessary, of course, but smart effort, smart action and most of all unlimited self-belief are much more vital keys to success.

    If you want to make $10 a day you should in my opinion stick to freelancing. The reason for this is that learning the intricacies of Internet Marketing will take a greater investment of time than the payoff you would receive from making $10 a day.

    You already got some great ideas in this post, although the $10 per day is really a pocket cash that's easy to make, even without extra ideas... since you don't have money to invest, try with offering some services to Warriors, but I would rather go with Fiverr and do a couple of gigs per day... especially if you are good at something, that should be a great seller on Fiverr... also, there are many "niches" that you can easily do on Fiverr and earn much more than $10 per day...

    The best is offering services to people. I've been doing this for quite a while, as my part time job and it is profitable.

    And another option is, build a micro niche sites. People had been saying this can give you money, auto pilot. I am now try to do this and has launched my first micro niche site. Let see how it turn out after a few weeks.

      That's a VERY good point. I like that you say "The reward to effort ratio is not linear". Though I'm getting the ball rolling by writing articles, I see this as the first step in proving to myself that I really can make a little money by providing services. Now I'm already thinking about adding some services to my pallet which will be much more lucrative (and exciting). What I really want to move into is writing sales copy, and I already have one idea for a joint venture which might be amazing if it were to work half as well as I imagine. That said, I am pleased to see that it's possible to earn by doing simple things, but I don't want to get too bogged down.

    If that is passive income you're after you'll need more time. In addition to that you can try with fiverr gigs. Doing 2 gigs a day and you'll have $10.

    Anyway only niche sites will drive steady income and fast. Building authority site can take longer.

    Im currently setting up a retail model web store for digital products with resell rights, I'll be releasing a 2 tier affiliate network also very soon.

    I suggest grabbing a few products with resell rights & either using a wp plugin or a service like ejunkie for the delivery, there is a service i think its called delivermyfile I found it easy to work with & they gave a $2 credit for first time users.

    I actually have about 10 products up & ready to buy that are $10 & under, & I also have 10 products that are $27.. All my individual products are also in an upsell flow of 16 combo packages from $7.77 - $67, (like the $10 & under go into the upsell at the $7.77 package, to increase odds of sales)

    My company also provides domains, hosting, & resell accounts. I provide domains & hosting through both, a MLM fashion & a non-MLM fashion. I thought, providing the essential "material" to get anyone online is ingenious, like cornering the market, especially when my customers will need these services to make the products they just bought from me available to purchase from them, with them earning their profits from their marketing efforts.

    You want to make a fast $10-$20 a day then you better gain a tool that will help you do so. Anything you do will take a bit of effort; however, you don't have to run yourself into the ground doing it.     This is a great way to easily get your $10 a day target.......

    Build a Facebook fanpage and start writing "notes" with your chosen keywords in the title and your HTML links and start promoting products from Amazon, Clickbank, Commission Junction......... These pages are public and are indexed with Google within four weeks and because Facebook is a PR10 website, all these pages have a high ranking.

    Martin, I am thrilled, not envious, that you have lots of $1,000 days - but most people have not made a penny from IM despite have spent bundles of cash here and elsewhere.
    Maybe we are dreamers and not doers and do not deserve to make the money, but in our own way we DO try.
    It is not worthy of those that have "made it" to insult we newbies with comments such as "half a brain" and other derogatory comments.
    We come to the forum for help, not insults and just to read your advert!

      My point is that it is great to find ways to make money, however small, but that to limit your thinking to see $10 a day as the most you can do is very unhelpful to your own success.

      I certainly wasn't being arrogant - just sharing my strongly held belief that we can all do so much better than we often give ourselves credit for.

      For many years I struggled with Internet marketing and - perhaps like you - got fed up with those who had made it being dismissive of those who had not. But when I eventually learned to stop limiting myself by always aiming far too low, I finally got the message.

      You say, "...you never know, our $10 day may well take us to $1000", but in reality if you aim at ten, that's all you are likely to make. If, on the other hand, you start out by aiming at 1000, you might not make it very often, but you'll certainly make the 10 far more times on the way!

        martin, i guess i am gonna drudge up a very old thread since i myself was researching recently, "how to make $10 a day". i do agree with the person who responded to ya. some of your post can be interpreted VERY poorly by those who have struggled working for themselves online. i understand the point you were trying to get across, but your psychology behind it was very dented as it only referred to one type of person that can be motivated by the theory you addressed.

        the op was very clear. he had a job and just needed a little extra money to pay his medical bills. from that standpoint, he knew exactly what he wanted and needed. he figured out the math and came up with $10 a day(or $300 a month). he was one step ahead of most people in being very specific in his goals. for you to tell him that he shoulda set higher income goals for himself was absurd. if $10 a day was too little, obviously $5 a day was too little($5 a day puts a roof over your head and food on the table in some countries). what woulda been a good short term goal for the guy? $100 a day? you mentioning you having $1000 days was absurd when the guy obviously didn't need that much or want that much and such an unrealistic goal for the short term to pay medical bills. also, $1000 days is nothing to a lot of people if ya only make $10,000 a year. you probably make more, but i'm sure you see where i am going with this. you either spent a lot of money on ads to sell a product or service or contacted a business and got a website/seo service contract etc....

        i do agree that if people limit themselves, they will stay within their limits at that point in time. it's hard to make $100 if you're only focused on $10. but what if someone was happy enough with just an extra $10 a day? why frown on that idea?

        when i've coached people in the past who have no idea how to go about making money online, i've set a goal for them to make their first $1. i also ask them what their long term goals are and what they eventually want to make per year. i never focused on their long term goals though. i always focused on their short term goals to eventually reach their long term ones. for someone just starting out though like the op, i think $10 a day is a VERY realistic and doable short term goal where he woulda been able to satisfy his need in paying his medical bills....and if it turned out he was finally making $10 a day, maybe his goal woulda changed to $25 a day and scale up to that amount. who knows.

        as for me, i've always been a dreamer. i always thought big. what i realized over time in my teens though was that i would always fail in what i did because my dreams were unrealistic in the short run. i realized i had to start with small goals and then increase my goals gradually when previous goals were reached to achieve the big picture in my head of financial freedom and helping others

        in short, your original post served no purpose for the op or for others who came to this thread in hopes to just start out making $10 a day immediately because they are suffering from a burden and stress and that $10 a day means more to them than your $1000 days that took you a long time to achieve

    The content of this thread has helped get rid of some of the cynicism I have of the WF in that dozens of people have responded to the originators request with a whole compass of ideas, workeable or not I do not know, and all free, which is what was always the case with the forum being a community where people helped each other, but which sadly has gone somewhat sour with overhyped underdelivering rehashed and recycled rhubarb so many of the serial WSO marketeers produce

    The ideas given on this thread if consolidated would probably make a bumper true value for money WSO.

    I didn't want to respond to you again, Martin, as we have already corresponded privately, but as you have continued the thread I must do so.

    The thread was NOT about a limit of $10, but a NEED for $10. Because you may consider $10 as derisory does not mean the rest of us consider it so..
    If $10 satisfies someones need then that is fine.
    A step at a time. Target $10, make it.
    Then if that satisfies the need stop - job done.
    But if you think " I have made 10, what if I go for 20 next" then fine, do it.
    I certainly would.
    Let us "little people" have our day - and again thank you for all the ideas everyone, some are beyond me in my dotage, but am going to have a go at some - then I may be able to afford the trip to London and join you for your networking lunch, Martin.

    -setup a squeeze page for the freebie offer (google: squeeze page templates)
    -make sure to insert a killer affiliate product somewhere between your 2-5 message in the auto responder
    -drive traiffc: forum marketing, articles, press releases, solo ads, ad swaps and etc.

    I've seen some interesting suggestions in this thread. As I've stated in an earlier post, I've come to the conclusion that offering services is probably the fastest way to make money.

    I've seen people suggesting things like setting up fanpages and promoting offers, but like I said earlier, those can be good ways of making money, but they do really take some time to earn from.

    I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this in this thread yet but instead of advertising your services and waiting for people to come to you, just go directly to the people LOOKING to pay you? Since you're tech savvy, you could look in the wanted section here in the Warrior Forum. Craigslist also has a wanted section. That is a fast way to make $10, although you will probably have to work hard if you want to "out bid" everyone else.

    Another quick way is to just use craigslist to let your local market what you have for sale. If you give them two prices. A high one if you meet them somewhere, and a low one if they pick it up. No holding an item for anyone - first one who pays gets it.

    This creates ethical urgency and will lead to a fast transaction. If your "low" price is great, THEY will come to you and you can get money with the least inconvenience.

    If you want passive income then the quickest way is an affiliate sales website augmented with some CPA network like AdSense/Infolinks...etc probably. Since all it takes is one $30 commission to offset 3 days of earnings this probably is best method if you take the time to build up a small site or a small network of sites.

    If you want to do labor, then I do suggest eLance.com, Freelancer.com, oDesk...etc Depending on what you want to be doing. eLance.com has free testing and certifications which can help you expand your profile and make you more attractive to hire. oDesk does very well for programmers in PHP, Java...etc and I know many who make hundreds per month from jobs there.
