Question about setting up my WSO

So I swear to god I've been reading stuff in this forum for like 7 or 8 hours over the last couple of days. Very addictive.

I have this great idea for a report on something I haven't seen anywhere in the WSO section. A different slant on an often-overlooked market. I'm really excited but I'm nervous too.

Nervous because I understand that I write a sales letter in the text box of my WSO, and after some investigation on paypal I found the "Buy now button" that most people are using. Here's my questions:

1. Do you have to have a business account on paypal or will the premier work just as well? Both allow you to accept payments. What do you use? From what I see one paypal, both charge on a per-transaction basis. Neither have monthly fees, right?

2. (This one is probably silly for you veterans) How in the world does a customer access my product once they pay? I will be selling my report as a secured pdf. Can I somehow do this through paypal or does paypal route somewhere secure? Totally confused. I can't use Clickbank if I'm doing a WSO because I want to offer it in here at a discount first (obviously) before I release it to the general public.

3. What price would you expect to pay for a WSO that is a special report, 15 to 20 pages, that really does have valuable, original information in it? What would I charge the general public?

Any advice would be great.

Thanks y'all!

My PayPal account is just a premier account ... so, no, I do not believe applying for a business account is needed.

    2. (This one is probably silly for you veterans) How in the world does a customer access my product once they pay? I will be selling my report as a secured pdf. Typically, you will instruct PayPal (when you set up your 'Buy Now' button) to redirect your customer to a specific page once the transaction is complete. It is here where you can offer a OTO (one time offer) along with providing a downlink link to your product and an opt-in box to get people to join your mailing list (if you plan on doing so).

    3. What price would you expect to pay for a WSO that is a special report, 15 to 20 pages, that really does have valuable, original information in it? What would I charge the general public?
That is something that is personal to you. Are you comfortable selling your report in the $7-$9 range ... because that is where most WSOs in a PDF format of your page length go. If not, feel free to price higher. It is up to you and what you think your product is worth.

    Hi there, my answers:-
    1. Yes you will want a business account! There is a free WSO somewhere on the forum called "how to avoid getting banned on paypal" do a search, well worth the read.
    2. Sign up to WSO plus, makes thing so much easier!
    3. Send out reviews to established warriors and ask what its worth
Hope this helps and good luck buddy!

    Hey...

If you're running a WSO that has a generic PayPal image as the 'buy now' button you're going to be dissapointed with your offer. You need to take a look at the service that allows you to qualify for WSO/day. Won't go into more detail because it might be considered Spamming...

My advice is that if you are really serious about launching WSO's
check out John Thornhill's new program called WSO Domination.
He will cover all these details and also give you advice about setting your price too.

My advice is to get WSO Pro - you will find the link by search. Anyway for $19 it runs all your statistics and helps you manage your product.

You can set it up in a matter of minutes. $19 is not that big of expense as oppose to $40 you'll pay for each bump.

Search on the War room about launching WSOs free gifts, you will be amazed, and you would like to get a bussiness account on paypal.

When launching a WSO you would like to suscribe to the WSO PRO ($19 extra every WSO),
    in the warriorplus.com site.

But the first thing I would suggest you before launching your wso, is to put more valuable posts on the entire forum, to get people know a little more about you. )

    Success!

I've had a premier account with PayPal for over 4 years, and have never had an issue with accepting payments for products or services.

    2. (This one is probably silly for you veterans) How in the world does a customer access my product once they pay? I will be selling my report as a secured pdf. I personally use e-junkie for the products I sell, both on the Warrior Forum and on my own sites. You can upload your product to their servers and use their buy button. The delivery of your product will then be automated.

    3. What price would you expect to pay for a WSO that is a special report, 15 to 20 pages, that really does have valuable, original information in it? What would I charge the general public?
Popular price points that I have noticed are $5, $7, and $9.90. Ultimately, if is up to you and the amount of value that you think your product provides to the buyer. It may be helpful to browse the WSO section and look at what others are charging for their short reports, especially for those that are in the same broad topic as you will be discussing.

I have heard before of people having trouble with a paypal account that is new, and then running a WSO and getting a lot of transactions into that account quickly. If you've got an established account it probably works a little smoother...but I suppose you have to start somewhere. Just let the money accumulate in your paypal account to avoid this, so they don't fear that users will come asking for refunds, and then you don't have any funds there. This can get your account frozen up for a few weeks!

I second and third the idea of you using Warrior Plus for your starting WSO(s). It will reduce the learning curve for you and does a really good job of getting you up and running, even with bells and whistles (stats, affiliates, etc.) It's really a good system and def worth a newbie's consideration especially.
