Do you know of any service which does monthly press release service i.e write and submit press releases on a monthly basis.

I am looking for some recommendations.

    I have never used that , but you can check fiverr, they have a lot of offers there for only $5, just look for the high rating gigs.

    I think press releases have got lost in translation.

    They're not to build backlinks - in that case they'd be called 'search engine releases'!

    They are news stories to be taken directly to a journalists's inbox or fax machine, with the intention of prompting them to run a story on TV, Print, Radio and they're Online news coverage.

    I do get frustrated the way press releases are now branded as some kind of back linking super-power!
