google places how long for 7 pack

Hi everyone,

Created my listing in august, one month later it was in the 7th pack,#7, here comes oct 14th and i am #8, since then google changed #6 and #7 twice, with different plumbing companies, i am still #8. So it is total around 3 months and i am #8, have optimized page and citations from citysearch, kudzu,judy's book are showing, listing in my places dashboard shows as active, . if you google "plumber cary" I am #H or #8
Do i just need to wait longer???

    You need local backlinks honey :-)

    Find local companies that you can buy a link on. Just make sure they are based in your city.

    I rank around 10-15 new places clients a week and ALWAYS add local backlinks first. 9 times out of 10 you dont even need citations once you add one or two of these.

    The best place to start is local seo companies. Ring them and ask them if you can A: Get a link on their site or B: If they have any clients that might be interested in selling a link to you. You will be shocked at just what a pr2+ backlink will do to the ranking of your listing as soon as it goes up !

    Depending on pr I usually pay around $50 one off fee per year or for higher pr around $20-30 per month.

    Do this and I promise you that you will be in the top 3 in no time at all
