Is It Really Possible To Make Thousands Of Dollars A Week In Network Marketing?

I get these calls advertising training calls all of the time from network marketers claiming that they can make me a better networker and have me earning thousands of dollars a week in spite of the fact that I quit network marketing a year ago after seven frustrating years. That said does anyone know if it's really possible to earn thousands of dollars a week in network marketing or is this just industry hoopla?

    I'm no expert here, but I would say, "Yes" - it can be done with the right product, the right system, etc...

    However, I actually got my "wake-up" call joining EDC way back when, and knew zero, nada, zilch about the internet. I jumped in head first and thought, these guys are good.

    Yeah, they were good alright... they held weekly webinars promoting their affiliate partners products, and funneled everyone through their affiliate links, selling people on the idea...this product will make you money. Every week, they taught some nifty stuff, but the real deal was the money they were banking on, was off the chain of affiliates they were linked to, and the (unknowing) members were making them rich! -not themselves.

    That said, I invested about $1,000 on that lesson. The funny part is, I didn't realize what they were doing until I decided to explore affiliate marking 2 years later, which has led to my being here today.

    Can you make money, sure?

    Are most network marketing schemes designed to keep you paying, yep!

    Do the guys up top make big bucks, they sure do!

    IMHO, the majority of businesses that 'demand' you as a member 'must' purchase A,B, or C every month to qualify, is a basic MLM. Likened to Awway or Avon, some make a good living, but the majority fail!

    Not much different then the techniques taught here on many levels, only here you choose your weapon, you pick your battles, and you determine the outcome. I prefer this method any day.

      It's possible, but it's rare. I have a few friends that make $2,000+ per week in network marketing, and I know a couple that have made 8 figures over the years. Like I said, it's rare though.

      Some people make millions per year from networking marketing, but it's more from selling shovels and pick axes to other gold mining network marketers than it is from working their primary business opportunities. They sell info products on the front end and promote their MLM opps on the back end.

    It is not only possible it is likely provided that you:

    1. Hook up with the right team
    2. Stay away from generic trainers... most of them have never built anything
    3. Avoid the so-called internet funded proposal "gurus"
    4. Have a legitimate product priced at or below real world competition (hard to find)
    5. Be willing to work... legitimately work... at least 2-4 hours per day doing the right things
    6. Do everything your experienced upline tells you to do... no excuses... no exceptions

    I'd be that guy if you have any interest.

    Most of the online MLM networks says those words but I found them really difficult to make money and not worth to my time and efforts.Well this is my personal experience with them although I have heard only a handful amount of people get real success with them.

    I know people who do, and have one friend who was earning $30,000 per month at the age of 25 from a network marketing distributorship she started when she left high school. (I've shown you her blog a few times before, Jon, in other threads. She's actually sold her main distributorship now).

    Clearly - as with any other form of self-employment or home-based business - such people are in a very small minority.

    They're the ones who understand and act on all of TSnyder's advice/comments above.
