I am getting 33.3% to 100% conversion on my adword campaigns but not making any sales on my website. I was going for the " Im a normal person just like you" theme but i guess its not working. Take a look and any info would ne helpful. I know this will sell in this economy because im doing it now. Profit From The Foreclosure Cleaning Business thanks in advance for any info. I would like to make this an offline WSO but not until its right. I might need to clean it up i guess, i didnt want it to salesy because i didnt think people liked that.

  • Just my quick observation: The graphics completely overwhelm the copy. The choice of fonts and colors is not good.

Everything is HUGE, which means nothing stands out. ..and the primary sales claim ($800 per day) doesn't seem credible.

I would reformat the whole thing, and get some copy assistance.
It seems you may have a going operation, but it's just not presented well.

  • I agree with Bruce - make your headline smaller, reduce the size of your graphics.

The concept is a good one - I worked REO's for years, but the site needs some reworking.

Try to use CSS and create H1, H2 and H3 tags

  • wait just out of curiosity, if you are making so much money from cleaning out foreclosed homes, why would you want to sell an ebook?

Not to sound like an ass i am just curious

    • Thanks for the comments, ill make the changes, I actually sold 2 today. @ JiuJitsuSweep, i do make very good money at it but i also only sleep about 2-3 hrs a day 7 days a week but i also have guys working for me that i make money off of as well. I would like to do 2 things, 1, of course is make money offering the information i have and be able to spend more time with the wife and kids and 2, is help others that dont have work or have slow work start bringing money back into their homes and pay the bills. If i can make money AND help others it would make me feel more accomplished as a person. Don't mean to be offensive, but you want a critique. The green dollar symbol background is hideous. The header is cheesy and way too large. I don't believe your "I make $800 a day" graphic. It just sounds like hype. You need a theme that has css. Very poorly formatted.

    Needs some serious work.

    • Really sorry but the content appearance is hurting my eyes. Needs serious makeover. Make it more subtle and eye-friendly.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Needs a little modification on the designs.

  • Hi stevefrk. I'm in the cleaning industry as well and will vouche that your concept is good and good money can be made. Not easily I might add.
I agree with most of the comments above, particularly Suzanne. That background has to go. It screams "SCAM". I'd set up more of a blog type site to try to engage your visitors. Also, maybe you could offer the first couple chapters as a freebie to build up a list.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Get a professional design, you can buy it for a few ten bucks. Don't waste any more money on PPC before doing so.

Where did you see such design anyway? Go take a look at top converting clickbank products and learn from them!

    • I agree with the others. You need to improve on the graphics.
By the way, is it the same landing page you use for the adword campaign. If not then that explains why you are not converting.

Why not tweak the adwords landing page and use that for your website?

  • You definitely can be doing much better and for sure there
is no shame in supporting your business with some information
marketing. You can only clean so many homes in a day but you
can sell a lot more ebooks in that same day without lifting
    a finger.

There are a hundred things you can change on that page.
It's hard to know where to start. But the great thing is that
if you sold even 1 ebook with that page you have a solid
    niche and product.

Along with the page re-design the letter can be a lot better
    as well.

  • I agree with Daniel. Your best bet is probably a professional salespage design. As for the $800/day sounding like hype, it might help to explain that you have a whole business with employees and work many hours (and whether that $800 is profit or just income).

Also, have you split-tested the price? Why not try bumping it up to $37 (or even $47) or down to $27? Personally, with a claim like "make $800 a day," I'd at least try $47.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • it looks to flashy and scammy looking, I would go for a more professional looking and plan design. I would change that before you start testing the actual copy and messing around with the price.

    • Sure, but I can tell you that one of our most ugly websites is the highest converting. WHY? its the copy, and the lauguage that speaks to the buyer.

I agree having a good website, or design maybe important...but at the end of the day, they are not going to buy on your pretty flashing lights websites...its the words, and they way you speak to them. Copywriting is a very important skill to have...I am crap at copy writing so I just hire someone who is very good at it.
  • What Nick said.

Get rid of the flashy stuff. Those make websites look amateur to me.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • IT looks very cheaply made. Not legit.
  • I think a video would help you out quite a bit with this.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • The design isn't really good. I bet if you have this redesigned then you will earn from it. The graphics used are not of good quality. Anyway goodluck with redesigning!
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Great niche! Hope you've had some sleep beyond 3-4 hours per day... I can remember my days when I was building a stone and brick franchise business. It's back breaking at first, but it pays off - so keep going.

My personal recommendation for the site is a total make over. I would highly suggest that you let the people who eat and sleep with mini-sites designs give your page a make over.

If you can afford to hire a designer - outsourced, then you can probably save some money in the long term and get more sleep.

Lastly, if you can covert your copy into video, that would be great. I think you'd do better with your conversions - video above the fold and a sales page underneath it. You can split test it if you like to see which converts better.

If you're a do-it-yourself kinda person, I would recommend Optimize Press as your sales page platform, but have your grafix done professionally. That being said, it's still better to get the whole site redesigned.

    Get some sleep.
  • STEVEFRK,
Good stuff on your on-going success with your offline business.
It has been suggested to you to all of what we suggest - however we feel:

you need to lose the background
lose the testimonials -(these can be e-mailed to purchasers)
lose the pay-stubs (makes the site look fraudulent and people who surf the Net a lot won't believe them)
re-work the font-particularly the top third of your site.

great to see that you are seeking advice and certainly the suggestions you implement will help to make your website fly.
  • You've already received lots of comments on your design. But... when you get that solved, you still have a lot of work to do fine-tuning your pitch.

Here are some notes regarding the copy:

    * You're getting to what it's all about too early. "Profiting from cleaning out foreclosures" isn't very sexy. Unless you already have a cleaning company, nobody wants to clean for a living.

    * Your before and after images are hurting you. You're showing the prospect all the work they're going to have to do. Yikes!

That's NOT what you want to be focusing on. You want to focus on how much you can get paid for this work... you can do it part-time... and this profit goldmine isn't going away anytime soon. You'll never get laid off from this job.

    * You've got justify why this is ethical at some point. You're not profiting from other people's hardships, but you're helping create a beautiful home for a new family. You're doing your part to restore the economy.

    * The biggest thing is... you've got to sell the opportunity. Tell them, it may not be the sexiest job in the world, but you don't have a boss, you set your own hours, and you get paid generously for your time. And that's what it's all about... keeping food on the table and creating a better life for your family. This isn't one of the work at home scams. You get paid for doing a service that needs to be done.

    Best of luck to you!
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • If you want people to stay on your site (or even catch their interest) it needs to be clean and easy to the eye. Graphics are OK, but should be placed right and shouldn't dominate your site's look. Same for colors...

Compare your site to similar sites in your own market or other markets. It should look like a business...not like some hobby project...if you want to earn something with it.

  • You need a professional copywriter. Your page screams "hard sell" instead of editorial style. If you want to learn how to do the copy yourself, try "Web Copy That Sells" by Maria Veloso, a copywriter who worked with Mark Joyner.

And yes, the graphic colors hurt my eyes.
  • Don't hate me Steve - You asked for opinions

I instantly feel sold to when I land and would not trust that
website as far as I could through it.

Ditch it and get away from Hypie crap! It's not going to work
moving forward in the next generation of IM. People are not
stupid. Change the Guru you are listening to.
  • Start from the inside out.

    1) sit down and work out what your most likely customer is.

    2) Become them, think like them, be empathetic towards them. Be emotive and just become like them.

    3) then write out eveything you can about them, inner desires, thoughts, lifestyle, money situation etc etc....just write out eveything.

    4) Incoroperate this into salse pages using benefits.

Doing this changed out whole business literally overnight. And it can for you, and increase conversions. Its can be time consuming, but if its conversions your after then do this little excersise....its worth gold to you.
  • The copy is coming of as a hard sell. The graphics are way too big. Overall, it might be worth spending some money to hire a copywriter instead of driving traffic. However, atleast you have driven some traffic to the page to test it so thats a positive. Now just make the changes and then drive traffic.

You also might want to split test with some changes with design elements and take it from there.
  • Ok Guys,
I changed it up a bit. I used some of the ideas some of you had and some i kept. Its crazy because as soon as i changed it my conversion went crazy! Out of every 100 impressions from adwords i am getting at least 10 clicks and 1 or 2 sales. Its unbelievable how much a few little changes make. And the weird thing is i raised the price $7. I even had someone local buy it, gave them their first job and the said they would give me an great testimonial. Im still learning but the info you guys provided was golden and i appreciate every bit of it. www.foreclosurecleanoutprofits.com
