Setting up my first WSO later - What shoudld I know?

I'll be upgrading my membership in a few hours and launching my first WSO.

It's going to be any kind of profit 'system', but instead a huge discount to some of my elite media outreach services.

So, what should I know? What should I do? What do people want to see in a WSO?

A price around $5 seems to be the #1 thing most WSO buyers want to see.

I agree with Bill, though I see most pricing between $5 and $10 at launch.
As to what they want to see: a legitimate system/method you've personally used or tools that will make what they're already doing easier, faster and cheaper.

From what I can see, most are looking for the hype .. the ridiculous income claims, the magic bullet.

How to make tons of money without doing any work (or very little).

They complain in the forum about getting scammed, of course, because this type of info tends not to real and doesn't normally work.

What I look for in a WSO is solid information that will enhance my own businesses and I only shop from people's signatures in the discussion threads and from Warriors that I trust. That means, that they've contributed a lot to the forum and I've come to respect them. I don't normally shop the WSO forum.

Honesty and proof. Obligatory sales copy of course, but avoid "fluffing" it too much. As a recent WF and WSO addict, I spent some time interacting by posting and helping other all I could before I launched my first WSO.

Gain a solid reputation for being helpful, keep your WSO to the point, and people will respect you and your product. That in turn helps you gain more front end sales and affiliates willing to help you promote.

Good luck with your launch, I wish you the best!

I agree with most of what's above: it seems the WSO's with the most sales (as far as one can judge) are the ones with very low prices, lots of hype and grotesque income claims.

There's another, separate, group which can do quite well, too: WSO's from sellers who are well known here, are very widely respected and have already added a lot of value to the forum in their interactions with our community.

Offer-trunk, hey, I just released my first WSO A week ago, PM me if you want the link (I don't want people to think I am spam/promoting) :-) Anyway, I learned that I should have had my reviews ready to roll right out of the gate on page one, spot one, I had no reviews, I have 3 good ones now, and am on page 8! So my plan is to bump it when I get a few more reviews in. 2. I offered up review copies on the thread, and have given out 12 Copies, and only 3 have come back!!! :-( So be weary of that, just have strict policy for review copies, some people are really just looking for a freebie! So PM Some of your best, most trusted contacts maybe, and see if they are willing to be on high alert to leave a review come launch time. (Within An hour) and I'm sure your conversions will go up. As far as what type of WSO Sells best here, I think it is "Software Combined with training" And having a trusted name obviously helps. But I just saw a WSO of the day that was the person's second ever WSO, So it's not super crucial. Well, there is my input. Hope it helps. :-)

    OfferTrunk,

First off, I hope it does well. Secondly, I am multitasking myself today and just started to fit the 'key' pieces into a WSO that I am hoping to launch in the next week or so. Therefore, Thanks for saving me the trouble of asking.

As far as the other responses, since it's my first (*and not my main product idea) I was planning on it being around $7, and have included some of those 'golden nuggets' I never really intended to share... You know; those "My Precious" secrets as Gollum would say.:p

However, I hate hype, false income claims, and BS!

So, I am a bit torn myself here, as it almost seems if you want to really grab people these days, you almost need to possess the ability to 'magically' withdraw funds from their wallet with excessive exaggerations, and non-sense. I won't do it that, regardless if I lose some sales, because those with high expectations are often the ones hit hardest... perhaps for their own good!

I don't know about you, but I'm taking the high road on that one, and planning to just lay it out there with... "this product does X,Y, and Z..." and garnish it with some solid advice inside.

My problem is; I want to sell the book for $7, and offer affiliates 100% commissions but cannot afford RAP yet. So, I'm not sure how the Warrior Plus thingy works(:confused, but the goal is to get this book into the hands of those "who know" their list can benefit from it, as will they!

It all sounds great on paper... but if it flops, I have my whip ready just in case, I need to remain a bit more self-disciplined!

Wish you the best wit it!

And look forward to seeing what other comments may come...

    Later,
