Squeeze page attached to blog?

Is it better for the SEO of my squeeze page if it has it's own domain or if I attach it as a sub domain on my blog?

Would I be better off with

squeezepage.com or blog.com/squeezepage

?

I've always just put squeeze pages on the same domain, but I've mostly focused on paid traffic so I'm not 100% sure for SEO purposes, but I would think you'd be fine just as long as its not on your home page.

You want to make your squeeze page a page of your domain, like this:

    yourdomain.com/squeeze

On the same domain. I usually do squeezepage.com then squeezepage.com/blog.

But the other way works as well. Just remember to promote, ping and backlink each one separately not just the main domain name.

Agree with the majority vote, create a separate page or pages all on the same domain.

The only time I have ran into conflict with this suggestion is when you have a WP site, and you're squeeze page or sales page is a mini site design in it's own index.html, then I have bought a domain specifically for that purpose.

But, I damn sure would like to know how it is, I see people using the same domain, and displaying several website templates within the same domain?

    Still stumped on that one.

for SEO purposes it is better if its on your main domain granted the keyword that you are trying to rank for is in your domain however if its in your sub domain no worries just add a few more backlinks to make up for it
