How to treat your new subscriber's after a paid solo ad?

Hi there! my question is this :

what to do with your new list after you finish your first solo ad?

for example :

after i pay for 500 clicks and send them to a free offer, i got like 340 subscriber's and the solo has ended... now they are all on my icontact list.

What should i do next?

i dont want to send them clickbank offer, couse i guess they will unsubscribe if i do that...

once i paid for 300 clicks, got a small list with that, but when i emailed them the first time i got allot of people unsubscribing for my free offer... why did that happens?

oh i always bought clicks for IM and MMO

thnks!

oh, well, what a great problem to have. I generally have at least the first couple emails done before I market to get people on my list.

Did you send out a welcome email? If not you could do that.

You could send an email out with some neat features of whatever they just got.

or give them some more helpful advice on the topic.

But whatever you do, contact them even if with just a few paragraphs. People forget about signing up for things and if you don't follow up regularly, they will opt out when the finally do get an email from you.

    I agree with topkat

    Send a welcome

On a regular basic provide good information with a softsell at the end.

One of the best thing to do after people optin for your freebie is to have an upsell. A product or service related to your freebie.

    Here is a quick example:

Let's say your freebie is an ebook about how to drive traffic to your blog with wordpress.

Once someone optin your list, he will see a page where you sell him your blog set up service, or a more advanced course. priced between $5-$20.

Then, send them a content email everyday (and add links to the offer you promote).

The email should be somewhat related to the freebie, and if the content is good and actually help your readers, they shouldn't have a problem with the links to other paid offer.

It's not a question of clickbank or not clickbank. It's just a payment processor. The question is do your audience want this product? or how this product (the one you promote) will help them?

You will have more success promoting wordpress related products to your list than selling them a website building software... or other automated traffic software.

Now, it's time for you to take massive action.
