E-mail tracking script question

I did a search here first and on the net but did not find what I am looking for.

I am in need of an e-mail tracking script. Nothing through an auto responder. I need to send some e-mails to offline business owners and need to know if my e-mails are being delivered and if they are being opened. That's it. I saw some free e-mail tracking services but most of those want me to put there extension and the end my e-mail address which I don't want to do. I want to put it in the body of the e-mail so its invisible. I just need it for testing to see if my e-mail copy is getting through and opened. I though someone here may know. Any suggestions would be helpful

Thanks X

    • am interested in something like this too
  • I bought a desk top application called msgtag. I found a 50% off code on the net and it worked. I would say it tracks about 30% of the e-mails I have sent. Its been helpful enough that I dont mind what I paid for it. I am using just to see if some of my emails are getting through or if I have e-mails that are getting blocked.

    Anyway hope that helps.

Also how many emails you need to track?

      Features:

      When your email was opened
How Long and Where - geographic location
