Ringtones baby, ringtones!

I was thinking the same thing start doing something with ringtones, maybe find a product that teaches how to sing and sell that on the site

First things first... are you capturing any of these visitors? Are you offering anything for free in exchange for their email? If not, do that right away. I mean now. Stop reading this thread and start building a list.

You could also get them to like a fan page. Just make sure that you are capturing them or else all of your efforts are going down the tubes.

What sort of ads are popping up in AdSense that are earning you $3-$5 a day? If there is some interest in those, then it might be better to offer those things direct to your visitors, rather than on a get paid per click basis.

Also, take a look at some of your competitor sites, namely the much larger ones and see how they are monetizing.

I would bet Viglink would provide you with a trickle at least. I have one that gets about 3000/day and we get around $40/month from Viglink.

What about iTunes? Or Amazon?

And I would also recommend a FB page or/and a list.
Even if you can't make that much money right now. Maybe something comes up in the future and then you want to be able to reach the people!

I like the direction of going with ringtones, but have you considered finding CPA offers on networks like PeerFly?

I think your best bet will be with CPA. but it depends on a lot of things. Quality of traffic etc.

How about selling Beyonce cds?

You could use banner ads from clickbank.com offers that relate to your website. Clickbank sometimes pays a lot better and if you find a high converting one then you're in business.

Perhaps would be better to hire some experts that could find better keywords. Let´s say $10 one-click keywords and you can concentrate then more on your AdSense earnings, because I am sure it´ll be better to concentrate on the main thing that gives you more money than spending lots of time investing into $0.50 projects :-))

I'm not sure if it's the kind of traffic you can monetize really well. I'm not sure. But think about what Beyonce fans admire about her. The way she sings, the way she looks, her style... maybe teach your visitors how they could achieve such things for themselves.

You could go down the ringtones route, or look into products that teach people how to make it in the commercial music industry. An awful lot of people are desperate to become famous pop stars.

The first thing I would do is go to a site like Qantcast and find out the demographic of people visiting most of the Beyonce sites. Only then can you choose offers that are targeted to that demographic.

Are the placements of your Adsense ads good? Maybe you should test different placements first and also text/image for better CTRs and CPCs.

If they don't work out, then should move on to some other method.

If you are not building your list then you should use a tool like

then offer affiliate products to your list.

With the adsense i would definitely remove that.
Unless you are getting MASSIVE AMOUNTS other wise using
adsense is just a waste of time and money.

Or just get some high quality articles put on your site and let it rank up before you do ANYTHING.

also you should put a facebook like content locker in there as well. That can get you nearly 700 likes everyday and get you more viral power.

there is a free wordpress plugin that will provide you with a like button content locker.

So, I just checked your Beyonce site out..

Try putting the Adsense ads in the articles. You have them on the sides way out of the way.

Also, the ads have NOTHING to do with beyonce.. They are about purses and stuff...

You should read some AdSense tips so you know how to optimize the site better.

I love the domain name. I see why you are getting a lot of hits.

Someone suggested iTunes, but I can't see any suggestions for CD's etc of Beyonce. If that's what the site is about, you really need products related to Beyonce.

CPA isn't working because it's not what your site is about.

Promote anything and everything related to Beyonce and see what happens.

Question: Is it 700 hits a day, or 700 unique visitors a day? These are two totally different things.

I agree with capturing the email address for some sort of newsletter/autoresponders. If you don't get return traffic, you can also try midpage ads where you link the partial content on your first page to an ad-only page. That page would have a skip button which brings the surfer to the full content.

If your female audience leans away from under 21, which it might with Beyonce content, you can always try the Publishers Clearing House campaign on MaxBounty.

Just don't do anything to get your AdSense banned like I did.

Okay, you owe me big for this one. I'll make it real short though! In tough economic times people like humor and since Beyonce is extremely popular there are many humorous youtube videos that fit that niche. Go to staged.com and create an account and post a new staged video to your site everday. Staged gives you the ability to incorporate your adsense ads you are already doing, the banner to your website or blog (if you have one), and lastly a chance for people to create a Staged account which earns you money everytime someone does create a staged account.
This should get you started earning Today!

One thing that I did not see was jv's. Look for warriors or similar niche instead who would be interested in advertising on your site for a monthly fee.

possibly look into carefully selected amazon products or cpa offers.

or as imdomination said ringtones could be a good one!

Make a few new blog posts that are interresting to your readers:

Beyonce car accident
Beyonce plastic surgery
Beyonce nose job
Beyonce weight loss

Those keywords is a little higher in ppc, so if you get someone to click, you will get paid more.

The point of these articles are not to rank for the keywords but to make google understand that they are about the keywords after beyonce. You then try to lead most of those 700 people to your better paying keyword sites.

A more aggressive adsense layout might also help.

And doesnt B. have several products she promotes on her own? After all she is married to Jay-Z.

I am thinking in terms of perfume, hair accessories etc with her name on it, or as a spokesman through commercials and stuff. Later you can also send stuff like this to your list.

You guys wont believe this or maybe you will.. I think i found out why i wasn't making that much money via Google Adsense..

this is pretty much a case study.

I had a plugin installed called Wibiya that enables social media sharing. I thought it would be great because it shows you who's online and where they are logging on from.

it also give you a "click to share" command when you roll over images.. and I believe it was doing this for google adsense ads.

Now I was getting an average of 10 clicks per day. I find this odd being that I get over 4k impressions per day and I have my site Adsense optimized pretty good. I use a plugin that allows me to place ads in my site via PHP and it allows me to name my campaigns. I usually name them after the particular add and it's location. Ex. 728x90 Top Banner

I went to check my stats using Statcounter.com and looked at my exit links to see what links were being clicked. I was shocked to see that in the last 2 days, I had 62 clicks on one of my banner ads and a host of other clicks on the others. It was around 70 clicks all together.

Somethings not right but I deactivated the plugin and took me a quick nap. It's not much but my CTR went up .01% and I got 2 more clicks.

I'm hoping this was the problem.. If so, getting 2k to 7k views a day with a steady growth, will get me some pretty good income with Google adsense..

Yes, I would most definitely recommend selling ringtones my friend, since she's directly tied into those with the music she makes. But I also think that the Amazon Associate program could work in your benefit too! Can't you sell songs through there? If you can, do it. If you can't, sell posters and shirts and stuff of her on them that you find on Amazon Associates and then team up with the iTunes affiliate program to sell her songs. I'm pretty sure they have one.

I couldn't find a good non-mobile offer on Neverblue but all you need to do is just do google search for some lyrics, go to their site and see what ringtones offers are promoted there.

I have an adsense site that does $7 a day from 150 visitors average. So you can do better with adsense. I think having some authority site link to you will help, and also experiment with positioning of the ads.

There is no one size fits all you need to test different ad positions and sizes to see what makes a profit because sometimes small ads work better than bigger ones. I had good success with a small ad 468 width just below the blog post title (the place where the eye is naturally drawn on each page).

Also Brian's post has some great suggestions.

And you can capture leads whilst using adsense at the same time and doing some CPA :-) mixing it up can be good as people will figure out what they want to do when they get to your site.

The list is where the the money is.

Give away something for free on the site and capture all them emails.

Do you have an analytics of the site? Males or females? Age range?

There are loads of things you can monetize with:

Ringtones
Create a product about beyonce ex. Get beyonces figure, get a girl friend like beyonce. Be beyonce. Sing like beyonce. Dance like beyonce.
Affiliate link to something about her. Her bio, cd etc.

You wont believe what people will actually buy if they think it will benefit them in some way.

All great suggestions here. Before evaluating how to monetize this site, you need to find out the quality of visitors, and then you need to come up with a plan on updating your site with new content to attract more visitors and increase traffic.

In the current state of your website you will not be able to make any more money than you are already making from Adsense due to the fact that your website is probably not getting the enough attention of updated content as it needs.

For any website to be successful you need good quality content. Updating content will bring you traffic, rankings, and money. By consistently adding content you can make money with either two ways suggested here: Adsense or CPA offers and building lists (which are much more profitable in the long run).
