CDs - What formats can be included on them

Hi

Can anyone tell me whether I can can include a few PDFs and a WMV file on a CD that will be playable on a PC - I have a few free Ebooks (PDF) on my Website with a few short "How to" videos and I want to compile the lot on a CD, print them via Kunaki and basically sell the CD at cost .

I will have them printed for Offline users so that they can just put the CD in their PC open the PDFs to read and open the videos to view them but am not sure whether you can do that using a CD medium.

Can anyone advise me?

Thanks
Bill

You can put all of that on a CD - but the thing you need to realize is the size of the files.

Another factor is "what kinds of file extensions do I expect my buyers to be able to open?"

WMV can be opened by Mac but requires installation of additional software to do so.

Video will take up more space.

Put your files into a folder, and check the total space they are taking up.

    Thank you Jill

The files will be much less than what can be burned to a CD and you point about what files people will want to open is a good point

    Very much appreciated
