Fiverr Gigs, Which ones are REAL?

I recently purchased a gig that did not bring results. The gig offered 3000 targeted visitors. I purchased it since there were others that liked the gig. I checked my logs and got no visitors. Is there a list of gigs that actually work on fiverr? Have anyone made such a list?

Since it was only $5.00 I took a chance. Losing my $5 is no big deal but I know there are
really good fiverr gigs to be had. I'm looking for gigs that offer tweets, facebook likes, and any real targeted advertisers about my site.

Anyone experiencing real results from fiverr gigs please make suggestions.

I've had a few total misses, but recently did one that brought me 300 uniques in a day and 36 subscribers which made it worthwhile.

Hey crank it, I think there are better ways to get visitors than to buy visitors through that means.

      1) you can get an seo service from WF which get you to top rankings wing weeks! I have seen very credible ones around...
      2) use ppc, they are much more trusted and go t very low prices like 1 cent per click if I am not mistaken.

      Good luck!

traffic, tweets and Facebook likes are pretty much useless on fiverr, all are made with bots.

there is even 1 guy offering "adsense" click traffic, basically offering to ban your account..

I've used fiverr.com for things that I've been pleased with, don't do it enough to remember who it was.

Unless there's specific rules for specific gigs - I believe you can reject the delivered service/product and the seller can redeliver or admit defeat (and you get your $5 back).

I've literally just rejected approx 500 backlinks from a turkey who obviously thought I wouldn't check them and decided to deliver me less than 80.

    Waste of time buddy.

What's the point of likes, followers, and friends if they aren't targeted and they aren't going to convert. Maybe if you are trying to redirect some traffic to your website to make it an authoritative site, but even then there's a lot more you'll have to do then pay someone with clever bots.

Another IM went ape s&%t because he purchased thousands of views for his youtube video.... okay, now what?

We stare at all the views all day.

A promotional video could be an effective way to build trafficto your site.
Best of all, you’d most likely be amazed at how tiny it costs you to have this video produced for you. A freelance video editor can most likely accomplish the task in a week or less for no far more than a couple of dollars. It is important to make use of YouTube so that you can take your videos up to the highest levels possible. It could take some time for you to get a good response rate but, in the end, it is all going to be worth it.Then, you or your webmaster can just insert the YouTube embed code into an appropriate spot on your internet site. Obviously this will serve to amplify the all round professionalism and appear of your internet site.

Also, forums are a great way to drive traffic to a website or blog. There are countless forums online, and they cover any topic you can think of. By selecting the right forums and working with them, you can market your product or service effectively.

    Hi fanhui:
    What are your results yo?

I get approx 95% are super. The other 5% is so so. Look for people who are pros.

Most people on fiverr are starting out so quality is not yet up. Kind of like hiring a high school student to do your copy. Do not expect super web pages.

Most of the SEO related gigs are worst! But It can be good for cheap BMR article writing service or any kind of unique contents.

I have used Fiverr with mixed results, the disappointment coming from a request for copy. When it comes to backlinks and blog posts, its very easy to prove work has been done, so using services for that I think is a safe bet.

Seems that if you focus on the feedback, not just the rating, but the actual comments, it helps weed out the crap gigs

Hi crankit I got real results on some Fiverr gigs.

I would never pay for visitors on the internet unless it was from a very reputable source.

Fiverr needs to be cleaned up in my opinion, of all the shady gigs I mean.

Fiverr is hit or miss. All you can do is read any comments left by previous customers. The only way to get good targeted visitors is AdWords. It cost a bunch, but it's worth it. Slap on a SEO package with that and you'll rise straight to the top.

Without knowing your niche or subject matter facebook likes and twitter follows are sometimes overrated, IMO. Offer value and stand behind it for long-lasting success.

I only bought SEO oriented gigs on Fiverr, generally decent work. I bought my last packages from this guy: fiverr.com/tylervan
Can't say I love Fiverr, but I prefer buying gigs there then hiring freelancers on internet marketing forums. I always get scammed....

I will just say that the one Fiverr gig I come back to again and again is from a guy named mazgalici - look up his username there. Anyways, he gives out packages of 4 or 5 proxy addresses to use for a whole month. This suits my need for proxies perfectly - I don't want to get tied into paying a regular monthly fee for 20+ proxies, but I do want proxies to do some research now and then. So that's a great fiverr gig for me.

Fiverr is simply not what it used to be. There are some good providers but most are selling rehashed stuff.

Take into account when the gig was created and when the last feedback was given (if any) some people will start gigs on a whim, then completely forget about them or no longer offer that service. If you have some doubts going in, use the "contact seller" link to send them a quick message.

Buy newer gigs. I've had a lot of success buying newer gigs for services that people just started offering. I think the reason for this is because the seller knows they need positive feedback in order to make more money so they will over deliver when they first start out.

Legit Fiverr gigs have a 100% rating and tons of ENTHUSIASTIC reviews.

The thing about Fiverr is that the price of gigs is so low that people would feel bad about giving genuinely low ratings for work that's just mediocre. Most people would probably just give no rating if they felt the work was simply "mediocre." The work has to be really BAD for you to actually get pissed and rate it a thumbs down. Five bucks just doesn't feel like enough money to go giving people bad reviews over, unless the service is seriously garbage.

Thumbs up + enthusiastic reviews = legit

Thumbs up + ho-hum reviews like "good job" = mediocre

A significant number of thumbs down = this gig is a scam

Yeah you must look at the ratings of any gig on Fiver. Also, I would not buy traffic especially from fiver because in the end it could just be a bot sending useless traffic to you.

So the guys promising 500+ facebook fans... is that a bot or fake fans? Either the fan count goes up or it does not not right? Even if fake fans, the extra fan count would make you LOOK popular.
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[5091886].message }}

the only way it's real is if

      a) the 500 people are accounts controlled by the guy himself

      or

      b) the 500 people are other people he's selling facebook followers to

in either case, you can count on either no friends at all, a ton of spam from this one guy, or a ton of spam from 500 people

also, with regard to it making you "look popular," people on your list will probably know something's up if you have like 2000 friends but only get 2 real replies and 50 spam replies when you post status updates.

so yeah, best case scenario buying facebook fans will ruin facebook for you, worst case scenario it's a straight up scam.

I have some bad and great experience on Fiverr too so I will always look at the feedback from the previous buyers and avoid unrated one because I had an extremely bad experience with a rude seller last time for a twitter service. I really like creative sellers on Fiverr especially those who offer great video gigs and cute drawing gigs. I somehow think that their service worth way more than just a $3.92(the net amount the provider will get on Fiverr after fee).
