I know that most, if not all ,one word domain name have been taken. However, I have been seeing some trend at flippa whereby by people come up with some generic names and sell them. This kind of names do not have traffic volume searches in Google but were sold.
Take for instance, discoupon.com was sold about a month ago at a very reasonable price.
Is it always possible to come up with something like this and sell them? I mean being creative.
Like the above, the seller explained it as discount + coupon = discoupon.com .
There are other cases like this. For instance, i came up with homeo.com and it was available for awhile but I think it was snapped up at where I was constantly checking its availability and value. Hence, the .net .org .info were taken and I learned never to use any other checker apart from whois.com.
Is it always possible to sell domain names like this?
Thank you for your time.
