Selling ClickBank products on an eCommerce store...will this work???

Hi Warriors,

I have an eCommerce store selling shovels (not really).

It occurred to me that I could potentially sell hole-digging tutorials via ClickBank.

Anybody of you eComm folks ever tried this? How did it go?

Thanks,
Vic

Yes, we've had success with that approach before, but you have to be smart about how you do it. Since your conversion rate will probably be lower on the digital product, you won't want to deter your customers from purchasing the physical product. We have always done it as a "You may also like this product.." type of thing after they have already added the item to their cart or purchased..

Our entire business model is building huge e-commerce webstores in focused niches.

Clickbank will work, it will sell.. but imo it won't work as well as your own solution. CB sadly is still more suited to 1 page products/sites. With a huge site then you can't properly have a checkout system as you want and lose a bit of control.

We have 3 sites, 2 of them were on Cickbank, but we JUST moved one of them off - again purely to gain more control over the shopping cart and checkout process as a big e-commerce store isn't ideal to CB

You could very well just build it as a review type site that goes over a general outline of what the product is your rating of it if you want etc. As long has you have the traffic flow you can almost always make the sales.
