Creative use of Video and QR codes, any other good uses?
I have found that QR codes will work if they are used as a video thumbnail for ranking. So what I have done is get the video ranked with a QR code as part of the video image. You can then use the QR code as the thumbnail that shows up in the results. I have used this for "special" promotions that people can access from their phone. Almost a surprise as they only know they will receive a special offer from the business, but they first need to scan the QR code to see what it is. Also no clicking off their results page to get the offer.
