Free Hosting with membership sites

Dear Warriors,

For many membership training sites, the annual web hosting fee are taken care of by the monthly membership fee charged ie free hosting if I join.

The question is, would I stand to lose it all if I cancel the membership? Would I be able to continue on by myself just as I was when I was their member with my domains?

Any reply will be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm thinking to get the best answer to this question you should contact support for the membership site you are interested in joining. Any one of us could say "Yes! You'll get to keep your website if you cancel your membership" when in reality you could lose it if you canceled.

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

If you cancel your subscription, you will have to either pay for their hosting service or transfer your website to your own server. I believe you can keep the domain you have. I suggest you contact the owner of your subscription for confirmation.

As an example I've been using a niche membership site that offers free hosting. I don't use it but I've seen that, anytime you want, any domains that you've set up with them can be transferred out to your own hosting service.

But you need to be careful. I've also seen plenty of programs that 'create' sites for you on their own servers that don't allow the 'members' to extract those sites when they leave.
