I am making a bit of money from adsense

I am not so focused on the money yet as the traffic and content are my priority.

However I am making money most days with adsense.

So I leant in here how to go to google keywords tool and see what in my niche makes the most and I found something good.

but my ad is still for life coaching and not relevant to the most up to date article.

so if you know about this stuff could you fine tune my understanding of this

    Sorry ok I will attempt to be more articulate !!!! lol

    I have just posted a new blog post that has a good cpc rate according to google keyword tool

    On the page on the sidebar is a adsense advert.

    I want to know what I need to do to make the cpc rate that the keyword shows up as,

    ie if you click on the ad now how much will I get paid.. the life coaching rate or the happiness movies rate?

    sorry Im confused which is probably why Im not clear about my question

    You get paid a rate that is related to the topic of the ad itself, not the topic of your page.

    Really, it is much more complicated than what you ask in your question. For one thing, the CPC rates in the keyword tool are estimates of what advertisers would have to offer to pay (for clicks), in order to get their ad displayed in Google search results. The amount an advertiser will have to pay to display an ad on your site is probably much less than that. And then, you will only get a portion of what the advertiser pays. Google gets the other portion.
