At the risk of offending you, I'd say that you get what you pay for. If you intend this to be a business, then your business needs cash to get up and running.

You say you have a website in which case just attach a PayPal pay button on your sales page and wait for visitors. Unfortunately, you'd have a long wait.

You won't get any affiliates promoting your product since you will have no way of keeping track of your affiliate sales, much less paying your affiliates. Even if you are able to come across a free affiliate program for keeping track of your affiliate sales and paying them on time, you'd need to spend money and/or time to get people to your site, in the first place. Affiliates need to see that your product is converting well before they invest their good money on promoting a product.

In your shoes, I'd sell a few physical products on eBay (could be things you own but don't need or use anymore but are cheap to post) to get a little seed capital to fund your business.

Then invest $40 of eBay sales proceeds in Clickbank to list your product. Clickbank will, for no further payment, not only market your product (listing on their directory) but it would also make your product available to their vast number of affiliates.

Spend $5 per gig on Fiverr.com to get someone to tweet about your product or site to get traffic to your site.

Sell a few copies and reinvest that money back into your business until it is producing a reasonable return.

Write or buy licence to another product and repeat the process.

Courage, he doesn't have money to pay Clickbank's approval fee.. which is why I don't find him serious about this business...
Also, there is an immediate idea of getting affiliates to do the job for him... sounds strange...
Ready made sales pages? From where? You should have a unique sales page for your product... Is you product even unique or it's just another PLR material?

First of all, setup a website to sell it, make a great sales letter and use Paypal for payment processing... you can check Digiresults and their affiliate program... and do some work on your own, before you think about getting affiliates to promote your product for you... you know, doing SEO, building backlinks, bookmarking, article marketing, video marketing, PPC, list building, maybe WSO at some point... forget about big launches and hordes of affiliates if you are just starting out...

- Setup your sales page, if your sales page isn't classy then its better to sale product for less price.

- Look for the Internet Marketer who builds list to market product, go to his/her blog and find contact me page.

Like this you'll place marketer in win-win situation and there are chances that they might take your offer. If they don't reply within 24 hours, then consider it as their no, and find someone who will be ready to promote for you. Process might become little tedious but you'll get results. You already have sales page? Was it done by a copywriter because if not it will be hard to make sales without one writing your sales copy. Go jump in some dumpsters and make the small amount it takes to become Clickbank vendor. I make $50 a day collecting cans and bottles so no excuses with the money issue. Also as a product owner you need some stat results to even think about getting good affiliates. Paid traffic is the way to go but it can be complicated for new marketers. SEO is just as complicated if not more. My suggestion is to go find a product similar to yours and go market it to make the money to launch your own. It will also be proof to yourself that you can effectively market a digital product online. That is my 2 cents.

I'd also recommend listing it in the WSO section but the only things that bothers me about that place are the prices and how they are being driven down day by day. A lot of people are just trying to create buyers list so for them selling a product for $3 is nothing. They are just following the route of under promising and over delivering (atleast as far as the price goes).

So maybe reconsider your price point and head over to WSO section to give it a try.

You should also consider advertising in free classifieds. They prove to work time after time.

A good alternative to clickbank is PayDotCom.

However, you may want to concentrate your efforts initially on drawing traffic to your offer. Invest some time in writing articles.

Can you sell it via PPC and turn a profit?

I'm sorry as I don't want to sound arrogant in any way; but how can you have ANY competence in PPC if you are not able to shell out 40 bucks?

I'm all about supporting new guys; but what's more important is that quality of products stays high. If somebody who is not able to pay 40 bucks "teaches" about PPC, how can this product be of ANY value except some copy&paste information?

If you want to be successful, first try to reach a certain level of knowledge in your area of "expertise"; then people will follow you and buy your (quality) products.

If you want to launch a product, you can use a press release to get exposures and social media like Facebook and Twitter as a tool to get good traffic into your site the content must be fresh and unique.

You might want to look into a few solo ads to give your sales an extra boost and extend the reach of your product.

There are so many ways that you can promote your ebook, but I have to ask the question as to why you are not willing to pay clickbank's approval fee if you want affiliates? I also ask why you are not prepared to pay the 40 bucks for listing your product as a WSO? I would never be prepared to ask this kind of question on here unless I was ready to back myself up and do these important steps.

Also, PPC marketing is a great value soruce of information, but unless you are serious about lisiting your product as a unique product on the WSO, and/or pay clickbank's approval fee, I can only think you may not be that serious about your business.

I know this has been said but it needs repeating. May I ask respectfully how much you have earned from the PPC method you are so keen to sell, since you can't muster the $49.95, to get it listed in CB?
