Promoting FIVERR gigs help/questions

Hey guys,

I started a gig on fiverr today. I checked with my competition and found out that I have much more to offer and I can deliver it in shorter time span. My gig looks better on paper.

But I'm not getting traffic, yet alone orders. Can you guys suggest me on where I could promote my fiverr gig? I'm trying to deliver the best quality I can for $5 and help people, but if they don't see my gigs, it's not gonna work out

Thanks
-m

  • Unfortunately for you, building backlinks by spamming blog comments has been pretty thoroughly discredited, even on Fiverr. Even for those who don't know better, they're far more likely to go with a 20,000 backlinks gig or even 100,000. You're only offering 150.

If you want to do something useful, offer a gig something like this:

"I will explain why buying 20,000 backlinks on Fiverr can get your site penalized by Google and direct you to actionable white hat Google-safe backlinking techniques for $5"

good one fluffy, although I guess people would go for 150 blog comment (since it will not get them penalized).

The actual problem with blog comment are little lousy, google spider, doesn't goes to end of the page and probably these blogs got like a million spammy comment (so if someone knows that, he wouldn't pay for it, it is not the case newbies will fall for it).

my advice find something more useful, and maybe give special offer for first few who buy the gig, this way you start getting feedbacks

    • Last night I posted a review of 3 guys who do breakup videos. They're pretty funny.

I sent them my 30 second guide to social media.

Traffic has been pouring in ever since from Facebook and StumbleUpon. I love it when this stuff works.

If you really want to differentiate yourself from your competitor, put a face on your gig. I mean that literally. Make a video and be amusing. Or hire someone to do it for you. Putting a face on the gig creates trust.

Get to work building your social networks. Family, friends, neighbors, co-workers... Tell everyone you know you're selling on Fiverr. You've got to work to drive traffic to your gig. That's the only thing Fiverr respects (other than money).
