My Favorite Press Release Site

Hello Fellow Warriors,

I wanted to share my favorite place to create and submit press releases. It costs $20 per release and they have more spendy options where they will even run a PPC campaign to get you even more exposure. I have been using them since 2007 and of the 16 press releases I've used them for I have gotten over 24,000 pageviews (to my press releases), roughly 4,000 clicks on links that take people to websites, 88 page prints, and about 50 people emailed a release either to themselves or others.

Not sure what others will think of these numbers but for $20 a pop I am happy with the results I am getting.

The site I am talking about is: WebWire.com

The search engines seem to love WebWire, especially Google.

I've only done the $20 releases so I'm not sure how the other options they offer might work.

SO, if you are considering press release marketing... This will help.

    I would rather PRWeb.com

We have got some insane results and lots of subscribers from this. Even ended up on the top page of google news back in 2010.

They are very powerful, and can bring in good results if written correctly.

I just did a quick Alexa.com search and discovered that PRWeb.com is among the top 1,500 most popular sites in the US.

Webwire.com is only around 10,000 and still gets awesome results...

      Thanks for the recommendation

The best place to submit primarly depends on why you are submitting a press release in the first place. For SEO? Or to get your website on the tv news? (see my e-sig below) Or for some other reason?

ONCE UPON A TIME there was a Warrior named Bob. He was sad. And frustrated. You see, Warrior Bob spent every last nickel on Internet Marketing e-books. But nothing panned out. No traffic. No sales. He was one sad Bob. Then one day Bob found a bottle. He rubbed it and out came a Genie who granted him 3 wishes. For Wish #1 Bob asked for a pet Dragon. Wish Granted. For Wish #2, Bob wanted Warriors' websites seen by 53 million TV viewers, for under $5 per broadcast. The Genie said... (click here)

I'm in complete agreement with this. PRWeb.com is a very good, paid press release site. I've tried a lot of the free release sites and I am not convinced of their effectiveness at all.

Both sites have their name - the price difference is stark though. Have not yet used PRWeb.com.

I have to step in here and unfortunately disagree with you guys. I think that 24-7pressrelease.com would be the best route to go. I've used PRweb for ages, and the results weren't bad (so I agree to some extent with these guys. But 24-7pressrelease has consistently put up huge numbers and building Page Ranks lightning quick, faster than anyone else (PRweb would be my second choice though)... Where as with sites that I have use PRweb for I've only moved up 1, sometimes 2 "page ranks".

          Hope it helped,

Honestly, $20 for a PR is ridiculous when you can pay that for a Google News submitted article, which weighs far better than a PR.

GoogleNewsSubmit.com far outweighs everything posted here. If you don't believe me, ask yourself what's better - a news article which appears at the top of Google News for its keyword when submitted... or a PR release which appears no where other than the PR site...... Hm...

So you're saying a PR only appears on a PR site? Dead wrong. PR's rank in the search engines too. Thanks for sharing about google news though.

Thanks for the share - maybe I am going to have to give Webwire a go - I always go with PRWeb and they are awesome.

Always good to shop around though...
