Final Conclusion on Article Marketing...

Most of us who've been around here now understand what is and is not "duplicate content," and the right ways to use article marketing. There are however two prevailing questions i think we should put to rest, at least i would like some closure on, before we stop beating this horse.

1. is there ANY benefit at ALL, or any GOOD reason to post a unique, original content/article on say EZINEarticles BEFORE having that SAME content indexed on your site, or not even having that SAME content on your site at all?

2. aside from ezine, buzzle, isnare, and maybe goarticles, (a select few,) is there any reason to use massive article directories and syndication software anymore?

Its obviously all about quality these days, and the USERS. Anchor text is also very important. Article marketing is one of the best ways to get it, but is it even worth our time to be playing the game of the spun content, massive yet minimally effective article directories, link scheme/splog networks, or is there still some gaping exceptions that may still be grey hat, but works like gangbusters that "most likely" won't have future ramifications?

    Question 1 Answer:

Post your unique article on your blog and get it indexed
before submitting to other directories. You are the author
except those articles are purely promotional articles aimed
at getting additional traffic to your blog.

    Question 2 Answer:
Manual article directories submission and syndication is okay
because you want to get as many people to benefit from your
knowledge and info. Remember that the internet is so wide that
not even the guy next door may know EzineArticles.com like
warrior forum members. Syndicate. But my grudge is with
syndication software. Are all article directories the same?
    Certainly not.

If I am reading this correctly "NO".

As it has been discussed a million times, the objective is to get your article's content in front of as many "targeted readers" as possible, but not before indexing on your own site first. After all, are you trying to rank EZA? or your website/content?

-Clearly getting Google to see your 'content' indexed on EZA is not the objective. It is a platform by which one can house their content for the purpose of getting it 'syndicated' and put in front of the 'audience it was designed to BENEFIT!"

So, NO - You don't want EZA or any other directory getting the credit for your efforts, so much as having it indexed on your site first, and... in hope; another webmaster can see such benefit for their readers and 'spread the good words' to the proper audience. Naturally, if done correctly, it will encourage that audience to seek more 'quality' information from YOU.

Especially, if you are the author of quality, value, informative and beneficial content to that demographic or class of readers, it preserves the information, the integrity of the internet, and demands credit be given to the appropriate contributor by way of recognition, possibly opt-ins, sales, commissions, and of course relevant back-links and Google's approval for maintaining said 'quality'.

I imagine not, as to what little benefit might it offer to the end by user putting it on non-relevant sites?

Some may perceive the more the merrier. I believe putting quality before quantity wins every time. The video in a similar thread, expresses this growing distaste towards article 'directory' marketing specifically... Yet, already I foresee the debate that article marketing and article syndication are somehow the same, when clearly they are not!

Hence, I agree with Matt Cutts; - if your trying to game the system and throw sh!t at the wall to see if it sticks, the new cleaning process will NOT be worth the effort you spend.

Be it better, be it best; to provide 'high quality" useful information, and let it spread the benefits to the intended targeted audience. Clearly, common sense reveals the rewards will be better for all, including the internet as a whole.

*We need to rid this spun, low-grade crap from ruining the livelihood of us all. So, I would stick with those who demand quality and a higher standard of approval... for the betterment of the all. It's no wonder MFA sites are getting slammed, sites are falling from the sky, and being de-indexed, and sand boxed... articles directories have lost their link-juice... this is GOOD!

"How much longer could anyone really afford... to let the lazy be rewarded?" -While jeopardizing the efforts of those maintaining a measure of respect and integrity.

Say; NO to SPUN crap, low-quality, and those gaming the SERP's for greed, personal gains, and of no significance to providing quality or benefit anyone less themselves, will no longer hold a place in the SERP's. - I can live with that!

*Help others, provide value, benefit the all, be rewarded.

Perhaps, this is a policy we need to reform and strengthen offline as well. Too many people are gaming the laws offline, as are those online...

I'm all for tightening the noose all the way around. Having suffered at the expense of ignorance... this is becoming a metaphorical 'indecent exposure' and disregard for mankind's true intelligence to let it continue.

Let's get back to preserving stronger virtues, and prioritize the importance of preserving and DEMANDING quality, over that of selling sh!t wrapped in a shiny packages!

Then maybe... those with an ounce of honor and integrity may stand a chance to reach success, and perhaps 'stand out' from the filth plaguing our world... online and off!

End of rant... Hope someone takes something away from this, and put's it to use!

    All the Best,
