Best Way to Advertise

by Emily Walker 9 replies
Hi Warriors,

I have a Fiverr gig where I write an article for 500 words or less that is well researched, well written, and ran through copyscape. I have excellent reviews and I get bites here and there.

I was wondering what the best way would be to advertise my gig to gain more orders?

Thank you for any help given,

    Hi Emily,

On the Affilorama forum there is a Services for Hire section that you could use. I think there is a 20 post minimum in order to post your service. The more gigs that you complete with high ratings, the more your gig will show prominently in Fiverr. There are "Featured" gigs, although I don't know if you can pay to have your gig featured at the top or not. Worth looking into.

Place the offering in your signature. Participate more in forums to gain more exposure.

      • Place the gig in your signature, everywhere.
      • Over deliver, within reason.
      • Autotweet the gig every couple of hours using Social Oomph
      • Encourage positive reviews and referrals in your "order completed" note
      • Make sure your gig has a bold, eye catching image
      • Have multiple gigs which effectively do the same thing.

Aside from what they are suggesting, I can that you try creating a Fan Page on Facebook. Register to some social media sites like twitter, myspace, linkedIn, etc. Also you need to create a Youtube Channel and a free blog at Blogger. Maybe it helps.

Gigs for writing articles don't do so well on fiverr because marketers can get them cheaper like $1 on freelance sites like odesk. Try selling 'more facebook fans' ' tweet folloers' those are more popular.

like sexy sue said, writing gigs don't get that much orders, and it's pretty much controlled by a few top sellers, who got 1000's of reviews

I think You have to do OFF page SEO like blog , article and forum submission and link building with this your ranking is gonna go up and you are gonna feature in top 10 in google and in the end when traffic gonna increase your sale gonna automatically increase. but there is a problem you have to spend too much time in off page SEO
    I Hope you like it.

You have to keep raising your rep on fiver, try doing the gigs on the sidebar, many of them will be off topic from what you do , but if you do a good job, they will still raise your rep, higher rep there means more orders.
