Cheap Articles - Is This Fair Or Unfair?

If you get terrible articles at a cheap rate and use these articles on your site, what does that say about your site? Visitors won't hang around long. . . which means you probably won't generate many sales.

People want good, interesting information. That's not to say that it has to be perfectly written, but terrible spelling and grammar leave a bad impression with your visitors, as well as colleagues and competitors who see your site.

I believe paying a reasonable rate for unique, high quality articles is the best road to take. You really don't have to pay $20 or $25 for a well written article that will draw visitors to your site.

It may (or may not) be an interesting topic, but it's one that will eventually resolve nothing. In fact, there was a long, drawn out, keep beating that dead horse thread on this very subject that apparently has been recently deleted. I mean, a multi-page (4? 5? 6?) page thread that kept mercifully dying then being unfortunately resurrected even though there was nothing new to add.

People will pay what they will pay. Others will work for what they're willing to work for. Those buyers and sellers will intersect at the points that are right for them.

What's love - um, I mean your subjective notion of fairness - got to do with it?

Yeah, I agree with what was said. Cheap Articles can be useful if you need something quickly and something to upload as soon as possible. I think it just comes down to quality in the end though.

If anybody's interested, here's a few general tips for quality article writing for your website:

First make a list of keywords that's the same keywords you use in your main website.

And each day choose one or more keywords and write at least 5 articles on those key words. When you've finished your article, publish this article "not all together, two at a time" to your blog first, then to article directories.
Use some article submitter software, not full automatic. Use your time effectively. You'll need to do other thing.
Write your own content with your own words.
Write niche targeted and keywords rich articles.
Know to whom you are writing, who will probably read your article.
Read articles in the same subject like yours. And write down a note about it your opinion; these notes will be great content for writing.
Write fast, work hard in the first year and you will enjoy it for life.
Read only one more time, to change. The best writing will be the first.
Article can be 400-750 words long. When you need to add more write a new one as a series. Hope this helps!

You have to keep in mind that not everybody lives in the States! Let's use the example of a writer who charges a cent per word. A 300 word article would cost $3. That money will buy you coffee and a muffin in North America. You have to think about what that money means to somebody living in Romania, India, etc. What is the median household income here as opposed to there?

As long as you pick the right writer, then its a win-win. They get paid a much higher monthly income than their national average and you get very cheap articles.

EEEWWWWW, not this topic again. I have to say the timing is really weird. I just saw a thread on DP where a guy was hiring people for $0.008/word (no, that's not a typo) and people were posting that they were willing to write for him for $0.006/word! Here's the great thing about truly horrible writing. For adsense, people hate the content and go and click on the ads to get away from the site! Conversions are pretty good, in fact. I accidentally discovered this when I uploaded one of my writer's set of articles without proofing.
