I'd see what I could do to convert that traffic to sales before I flipped it. Will get a lot more if there is revenue.

Buyers are picky, they want several months of traffic and revenue. I would try to monetize the site, adsense, CPA, ringtones etc....and let it run for a while before flipping.

In the long run I would try to flip the site I think; but only after seeing if the traffic holds at that level or higher. I actually didn't know that people used anything but Itunes (1%) or Limewire (99%) to download music :p

I would agree that as a potential buyer, I'd want to see if your traffic and ranking stuck. I wouldn't spend very much for a website that had a recent surge in rankings, for fear that the tide would turn and I'd have bought a dud.

So I'd try to make some money on the traffic for a month or two and hope it continues!

To early to flip. Try to keep it at least 3 months. If you can show consistency (and preferably growth) you should get a nice premium after that time.

You should spend some time monetizing the site - test different methods and see what works best. This will add a lot of value.

Yeah do all you can to monetize the traffic that site is receiving at the moment. I wouldnt rush to flip becasue it is getting alot of traffic try all you can adsense amazon and cpa to see what is going to bring you the best revenue. Then flip if you can't manage to get the site where you want it to be.

oh waoh.. thanks everyone... but the issue is, I lost faith in adsense long ago... they just ban accounts for me..

... amazon, thats already configured on the site.... I am using adbrite and bidvertiser... and both of them suck bigtime at paying..

Dude for that keyword people are coming to you site to search for something for free and those are not potential buyers..So the best thing would be Adsense. If you got your adsense banned then sell this blog.

Clickbank: Probably some fun stuff for the freeloaders here, too. Look for low-cost stuff that might appeal to an iphone or mobile phone owner.

Try signing up for some CPA networks and grab offers like music ringtones, MP3 download gift cards and etc and monetize the site. See how much you can pull from the site before flipping it.

I wouldn't flip it until I could determine whether or not I could generate revenue from the current traffic. This will also help determine the value of the site by using revenue metrics as a benchmark.
