Wow, that's a lot of videos. This doesn't ever happen to me, but then again I don't promote affiliate products on Youtube (assuming that's what your doing).

You might want to check in with youtube about that situation right away, as I'm sure you put a lot of time and effort into those videos for them to just be dropped off the face of the earth.

Check to see if they have new rules and regulations! Maybe you are violating some rules without knowing about them!

    Hope this helps!

Actually yours lasted longer than some. They've been deleting Make Money Online videos for months now.

They deleted Tiffany Dow's videos and ProBlogger's videos. There was a lot of complaints about deleting ProBlogger's videos, so they restored his.

It's no secret that Google doesn't want affiliate marketers/make money online/biz opp stuff in their index or on Youtube or any of their properties. They spend a considerable amount of effort eliminating it. They consider it low value content.

As Suzanne says they've been deleting videos that refer to "make money online" for months. If yours indicated that, then that's why they have been deleted. If not, and they offered valuable content to the users put in a letter to YT. Other marketers have done this with some success.

One thing to keep in mind is that Google/YouTube is a 'for profit' enterprise. They know many folks would love to pass the costs of video hosting on to them and pocket the savings.

If you've gotten away with it this long consider it money in the bank. And don't be shocked if you find out your competition ratted you out.

I had two youtube accounts deleted this month alone... warning one day, terminated the next day. Mostly review videos for Amazon Products and the videos were professionally done from some fellow warriors.

Time to start plan B and host our own videos I guess... I've spent days trying to go through all my niche blogs and fix the videos that are in there that say: "This video was terminated for violating terms of service" ...that sure doesn't help your review sight look very professional and I'm sure my sales will be lower this month because of it.

I did find a pretty decent video self-hosting service. One-time investment, no monthly fees. a little more work than uploading to Youtube, but at least I don't have to worry about them getting terminated.

I had a YT channel deleted recently with review videos also.

The email I recieved said that ones of the videos had been flagged by the community. The video didn't contain any references to make money online as it was just review videos, and they didn't contain any affiliate links.

Maybe Google should hire volunteers who are willing to moderate flagged videos. That system wouldn't be perfect, but at least it would be better than the current system which anyone can flag videos to get someones channel deleted. Each volunteer would have to fill out a questionaire to make sure they have a good understanding of the TOS.

After years of neglect I've just started boosting up my YouTube
channel and it takes some time and effort. I just hope that I'm
not breaking any terms--haven't read them.

But I think if you monetize the videos and they get accepted
that will be a token that the videos are considered OK. I've
not had any videos rejected as yet--keep fingers crossed.

I'm staying away from the automated stuff as well.

How do you mean accepted? YouTube videos don't have an approval process, they go live as soon as you upload them.

When you submit the videos and choose for them to be
"monetized" (earn Adsense income) they have to be
reviewed before they join the program. Part of the
approval they let you know that if the video doesn't
meet their criteria they will delete the video.

My wife and I have had the same experience.

The other thing is that they can put together an audio transcript based on the content of your video. That means that is might not be too difficult to figure out whether or not your content is good or bad.

I think you could probably script something pretty fast to "listen" to the content of a channel, then based on the number of a certain kind of words, they can take yours out. That would not take much manpower at all.

They are now saying to people that they will offer you a cut of the advertising that appears on the video. That makes them some and you a little. Thus, the long and short of it is that if what you are doing makes them money without making them look bad they will keep you. If not, they will boot you.

Oh wow. That's a lot of videos! Sorry to hear that. Best thing to do is not rely on Youtube. They are very strict and without any notice they can do something like that to you. Best thing to do is to try to host your own videos so you won't lose them. Look for good video hosting services.

I learned a long time ago that you can't do anythign marketing related with Google or any of it's properties. They kicked me in the gut early on in my marketing career by terminating my Adwords account for something that was beyond my control and then shortly after shutting down a Blogger blog I had that I had worked up to a PR4 with 1,000 or so uniques every day.

I knew then that I would be better off to host everything myself. Although I do have a YouTube acocunt with roughly 150 live videos. But those are mainly tutorials and some Clickbank product reviews. I always try to provide content in my reviews as well, but that probably won't matter if they ever decide to shut me down.

I guess it's just a matter of time, really.

I can't tell you how much it galls me that Google thinks they have the last say in what's appropriate content for the internet. Due to their size and reach I guess they think the rule the net, but I'm here to say that's bull, and I'll continue to mak emore and more money online just to spite them.

Sorry to hear that. These are a lot of videos.I don't think that you could find the edge of the rope but you have nothing to lose, contacting Youtube and ask the reason why this has happened.Ask them if something can be done to restore your videos and correct them so they would apply to Youtube's terms of service.

I think there is not such a good alternative as Youtube so you could upload somewhere else your videos.Really sorry again. That sucks!

I think there is a line between "marketing" and uploading 145 videos PER DAY for 14 days straight using 150 accounts. It's even more puzzling why he is even surprised that they deleted his videos/accounts.

I agree the amount of filth that is allowed in YouTube comments is quite ludacris. Still the truth is I haven't seen too many "Make money online" marketers with ridiculous amounts of views on YouTube as it stands anyway. I guess they are filtering that out and making video marketing much harder than it used to be. Oh well there are a lot of alternatives on the web these days!

This thread is a few weeks old - but 3-4 months ago the OP had a similar youtube problem.

I do not know why, they just say violate community guidelines.
I often download videos on youtube and upload them. Between one channel and other channels have the same video,
He said then he was posting duplicate videos on multiple accounts.

You could have 15 videos and upload the same videos to 150 different accounts - and call it 2000 videos. However, YouTube isn't going to stand for it.

People need to stop relying on third-party services, particularly free ones, particularly when they're violating the ToS.

Host videos yourself... but make sure you're not violating your host's ToS. If it's not okay with them, find a host that is. You'll have to pay more, but are you running a business, or just playing around with a hobby?

There could of been a lot of reasons why your YT videos have been disabled; duplicates, low quality (Spamy), too many videos - too new of an account, there are so many reasons.

I suggest just starting a legit channel, let it age, then start promoting high quality videos, then finally allow people to comment and interact.
