Are you working IN your business instead of ON your business?

Maybe you've figured this out already but working IN your business is no better than having a JOB.

And your boss is probably a slave driving, sleep-eschewing workaholic!

Your REAL job as an entrepreneur isn't to write articles or build links or write copy or autoresponder series. Sure, you should do everything yourself once or twice to know what's what, but after that, the name of the game is creating systems.

Why do we do this? It sure as hell isn't to trade 9-5 in an office for 9-5 at home. Yeah, that's not a bad bargain but you're still trading your most precious commodity: Time.

Your real job is to create the systems that allow other people to run your business for you.

Let's say you build niche sites. The process is pretty is straight-forward:
  • Keyword research
  • Analyze the competition
  • Buy a domain and setup a blog
  • Write articles
  • Get traffic (however you plan to do that)
  • Monetize

If you do all of that yourself, EVEN IF you have the process down pat, you're still spending at least an hour or two of your time building this site. But what if you create the architecture that would allow you to send one email to your VAs and in a few days, you have 10 sites ready to make you money? In the meanwhile, you could be out on a date, at a MMA fight or doing any number of cool ass things.

Building bulletproof systems is hard work because it requires you to THINK hard. But c'mon, do you intend to keep digging your hole in the dirt with a shovel yourself or do you sit down and figure out how to rent a dang tractor?

Working hard is commendable, necessary, etc etc, but you're never going to have the freedom that you got into this game for in the first place, you MUST strain your brain and figure out the systems that makes your business run with minimal input from you.

Work hard on working smart and your efforts will be rewarded exponentially.

Success and Happiness to all,
