Can some help me figure out what the best software to build facebook

I want to know what is the best software to build fanpages that are also secured. There is just too many options around. I see some on the forum but it looks like many of these have been abandoned by their creators or they are not updating them. Either way I am looking for a real plug and play system.
Also I have basic knowledge of html. If you could also point me to a good tutorial. I want to use this for businesses. Thank you.
