I did it! I got my very first order of my Fiverr.com gig! This has motivated me to move forward with the potential with that site. I just completed it so now I need to wait until the customer enjoys it and pays me! Thank you warrior forum I Blame you!!

    Congrats!

But now you need to know that once the order is marked complete, it takes 14 days before you can withdraw your earnings to PayPal. And fiverr takes 1 dollar, so after Fiverr + PayPal fees, you only get $3.92

Just figured you should know this now so you arent surprised once it happens. So go scale it up!

oh... Thats not that much money well the good thing is I am not doing a lot of work for that and on top of all that. Any little bit of money is better than no money!

    Exactly.

Trust me, its not much money by itself but it can and DOES add up. So make sure you promote your gig, post new gigs, etc.

Simply having it on Fiverr is not enough to bring in substantial revenue. You still need to promote it to people, and keep adding new services that wouldn't take too long to do.

Oh - always over-deliver! Fiverr is just one giant lead-generator in my opinion. Each sale you make gives you the opportunity to impress the buyer and then offer an upsell

I've met clients on Fiverr who loved what I did for their order so much that they wanted to work with me on a larger scale. One guy paid me 300 per month to manage his Twitter account using TA Pro. Another buyer paid me 950 dollars for a MASSIVE 5 day Twitter campaign..

And I met both of them via Fiverr. So yeah, just make sure you provide QUALITY work and you should have no problems making some pretty decent cash (2 weeks from now, haha!)

But no, on a serious note, congrats on the first sale and good luck man!

Congrats. It is not much money on one sale, but if you doing enough sales, it certainly is a lot of money.

My sister just had her first Fiverr gig buy today too! Her gig cost $1 though, so her she doesn't make a lot, but I'm still proud she is trying to make money instead of sitting around complaining she has none.

Fiverr is great as long as you focus on coming up with gig ideas that are very quick. I know her gig costs $1 and takes about 5 minutes.

I do pretty well on Fiverr as well, selling different types of ebooks.

fiverr won't get you rich; $4 earned per gig that comes once a week! try something that brings in more eg. recurring products

Congratulations! Spread yourself some of the other sites too for more exposure (and more income). Other sites (such as ours) also pay a lot more quickly.

COngrats to you! Although, as other said already, that won't make you rich... I mean, one Fiverr gig will not make you rich, especially if it takes you a lot of time to complete it... but it's a good start towards making money online

Congrats!!!! While I agree with what everyone has posted already about not getting rich, you are atleast taking action and making some money. Good luck and I hope it is the first of many orders for you.

    Brilliant - well done!

As already stated, up-selling is the key to fiverr. I've now completed 69 gigs and a good number of those are from repeat orders. Ask them what results they got from your gig. If the results were good, then ask for another order. If not good, then work with them to find a way to get them results. You may find that you get on-going work away from fiverr which they will negotiate a price for regular weekly/monthly work.

Remember, you are not just selling gigs - you are building a HOT List of clients.

    Best regards,
    Koolsteve

Congrats on your first sale of your fiverr gig. Just rinse and repeat now!
You can have 20 gigs listed there and you can also list your services on other gigging sites. Fiverr is a great way to add an extra income stream into your IM earnings.
I get a few orders a month on my services I have listed there so not much coming in but still every penny counts right!
