I don't know about you but I have bought like 100 gigs on fiverr they were all scams, just a waste of money. Worst part is they are given postive feedback. Here are a few of my mishaps.

1. Video promo------- promoter was in her kitchen and lighting poor
2. More Facebook Fans---- all fake non-active accounts
3. Spin article-------- same article sent back
4. post on your wall----- sent photoshop of screen shot
5. More Tweet followers---- not a single follower gained

have you been scamed by fiverr too?

Fiverr is like any other web site that is only a platform for individual suppliers: some are good, some are not so good.

Just because somebody in the train next to me was unfriendly does not mean that all the people who ride in a train to London are unfriendly.

You write "like 100 gigs on fiverr they were all scams" but you only list 5.

If 5 out of 100 were not that good and 95 were excellent it's not that bad, right?

      • Seems like a not-very-subtle attempt to promote the OP's signature while pretending to complain about Fiverr.

After all, you'd have to be stupid to buy 100 gigs after the first ones were "all scams."

''like 100 gigs'' obviously you guys are basing your facts on theory. I don't get me wrong skilled gigs like graphics are ok, its just the non skilled gigs are concerned about.

          Funny!

Fiverr is what it is. There are some low calliber sellers on there, and even click farmers get positive feedback because most people don't know when they're being scammed, or they're trying to be nice, or they just don't expect much for $5... But you can find a few sellers who really over deliver.

If fiverr is a problem, outsource to some other sites like Vworker. You'll probably spend more than $5, but maybe it'll take less than 100 gigs to find some quality help.

Greatness is difficult to appreciate from close up. The great mountain on the horizon is only the ground when you are standing on it.

I've always had good experiences with the services I have bought from fiverr. It's pretty amazing how cheap it is when you consider the paypal fees and fiverr fee thats taken off the top of $5.

And if you aren't happy it's only $5 so there are probably bigger things to worry about.

I know some college kids that pay to get their homework done on Fiverr. I think it just depends on the gig.

My Fiverr gig is definitely legit. Can't comment on other peoples'

One thing I've noticed about the people doing logo design there will do really simplistic stuff that you might think is awesome if you don't know the first thing about inkscape or illustrator. but i mean, it's worth the $5.

There are some bogus Fiverr gigs out there, but there are acutally some very good ones to. You just have to weed them out. Look at the sellers feedback and there history of gigs. That usually lets you know right there if it is a quality gig. If the the seller has negative or no feedback, I normally do not mess with it.

I've had nothing but success with fiverr gigs. Scams. . .... you report them and they get refunded. Only thing wasted is time so better do a test gig with new people to see their skill level. $5 is nothing if you can find a highly skilled person.

Fiverr just like a marketplace, there are many SELLER who sell their service or product, if the service/product was not satisfy, that is SELLER wrong, not fiverr..

i you don't like (satisfy) with the service, you can cancel your order, and take back your money.. it's safe..

I tend to find the traffic, spun articles, and social network gigs to usually be a waste of time.

But then i have found 2 fantastic content writers who over deliver and do it fast. I have also found a few decent backlinking services.

It took you 100 gigs to realise that either a) they were all scams or b) you aren't good at choosing?

Really? 100 gigs? Why did you keep buying?

        Agree 100 (%)

It's gone up to 120 now

Seriously though Fiverr can be quite good. If the gig doesn't live up to what you expected for $5 just get a refund and try someone else with a related gig.

I always try to over-deliver and many people tip me.

Fiverr is a great service for both buyers and sellers but of course there are some rubbish gigs and rubbish suppliers mixed in amongst the good stuff. Twas ever thus.

i bought and sold many gigs, and yeah there are scams out there, and you have to read the gig description, and if you have questions, you must ask the seller, i'm sure that with the tweets/likes if you would have asked the seller if these accounts are "real" he would have told you the truth...

I tend to order the same type of services over and over. I mainly have articles written. I spell check and make other edits, but fiverr allows me to get more articles out than if I wrote the articles from scratch.

It took a while before I could find two writers whose work only required minor edits. I now just use them over and over. One is so good I feel embarrassed paying her so little money.

If you've bought like 100 Gigs on Fiverr you'd know that some providers are good, others aren't. That's just the name of the game, you either deal with it or don't use Fiverr IMO.

No, I haven't. I buy a ton of social bookmarking gigs and my position in the serps have climbed up with each one. Also got a dynamite video made.

I don't want tweets or likes as I think they're fairly useless. Bot accounts and bot followers don't get you much in the way of traffic or sales.
