Squeeze Page Question in Relation to Mental Health Niche
How do, or rather should, squeeze page (i.e. list building) designs differ from niche to niche?
For example, the most common squeeze pages I see mentioned on this forum are simple, bullet-pointed and quickly funnel the visitor to the sign-up box. However, that seems to be great for some niche subjects (like the IM niche) but might not be for others.
I am in the early stages of a particular mental health niche website and I'm wondering in what form my squeeze page should take. I've already placed an aweber-based form on my sidebar but would like to have a squeeze-page too for article marketing endeavours.
What would someone looking for mental health self-help material and information be more likely to react positively (as in giving their email address) to? Would a website with a squeeze-page front page be less effective, in this niche, compared to a traditional blog-style front page? I've also placed a link at the bottom within each blog post to my current squeeze page.
Of course, I should, and I am testing different things for myself but would love to hear some other opinions in the meantime.
(By the way, I have a self-written eBook as an incentive)
