Taking work from an offline client and outsourcing it

I have got a client who wants a bit advanced website and My knowledge only takes me till basic or intermediate website creation.

My plan is to take the contract and outsource the work to advance creators.

he also wants mobile app,web app to do the same thing as website.

so i was wondering
1.where i can find good people to outsource it?
2. how much should i charge the person ?(considering its 3 things he wants and they are pretty advanced)

Thanks for your replies.

    Chulbul,

Best bet is to post a project on:

    Scriptlance
    Odesk
    Elance

Get an idea of what people are charging to do the work......

Then markup that price and offer it to your client....

    Regards

    Chris

I'd try freelancer.com and see their offers. You'll just need to describe your goal very clearly.

The most important thing -- even more than the money you make -- should be choosingselecting your supplier. Making the wrong choice can cause irreparable harm to your business -- so choose carefully. Take your time and do your homework. Obviously you want to be able to turn a tidy profit. Just make sure that the provider is capable of doing to work to your client's standards.

Ideally, you want someone who is not only capable and talented, but someone who is serious about growing their own enterprise. You want someone who will work with you to get it right, even if it takes a few tries.

When you find the right individual, treat them with the utmost care, appreciation and respect -- as you would any valuable employee. Build a relationship, so you can go back again and then continue to seek out additional suppliers you'll want to use repeatedly.

With a large enough customer service centered talent pool, you can then focus your efforts on bring in more business and making more money. All the best!

You can also check peopleperhour.com for outsourcing.

Now for the charge question, you can't get a clear answer until you know exactly what you want.

You'll have to submit a project to a freelance site like Elance or Odesk or whatever. Once you get bids, you will know what they are going to charge. Then you can fix your own price. I use Elance for oursourcing, but a lot of people use Odesk.

Post a very detailed job description on Odesk, then use their search feature to find qualified applicants based on your search criteria and invite them to your job. Discuss the project via PM & get a good idea of what it should cost. Then you can decide upon a fair price to charge your client. Whatever you do... PLEASE do not provide a quote until you've spoken to a qualified developer who's given you a solid quote, then give yourself some wiggle room as well.
