Hi, I would like to use a facebook comment box on my website..so I created a new facebook account with a new email adress...(I dont want to use my personal facebook account for IM activites...)

The problem is that facebook found out that was a fake account and didnt allow me to create an application...so I cannot create a facebook comment box...what alternatives would I have?

Could I create a facebook comment box for my website creating a facebook account as a website not as a person?

    • Someone with more experience may correct me if I'm wrong, but...

      I thought you could create a fan page for business purposes. If you need to connect it to your real page to build you an app you can do it so that none of your "friends" know that you actually created a page for business. I've tested this out a few times and it seems to work, but I haven't actually integrated it into my real sites yet.

      I think FB just wants to know you're a real business and not just setting up a million spam pages to build apps but they offer you the option to keep those pages separate from your personal page. I really think you can create unlimited fan pages this way.

      Like I said, someone may correct me though...
