I read this post in another thread just now and feel this needs a broader audience....
Hello good people, I am enthusistic about network marketing to the extent that I have spent more than US$10000 so far without any profit but even now I am still trying different programs and hope will one day be on the 3% that succeed in network marketing. I joined and cancelled after some months big programs that needed monthly subscriptions of US$30 and up.The most expensive joining fee was US$2999 and US$59.95 monthly subscription and I used it for 6 months. Currently I have reduced the programs as I only pay $33 monthly subscription for 2 programs and hosgator fee that host my domains but still waiting to see some profit. |
I am asking if traffic broker can yield any results for me because I found the information in their website convincing. Will it be advisible for me to cancel the $33 subscription and take the US$49.95 traffic broker membership and put my whole weight on it untill I make some profit? What is your experience with traffic broker? Any advice will be highly appreciated.
This is what I wrote in reply - perhaps others with more experience than me can give their viewpoint too.
Your post makes me sad.
You have lost a lot of money and seem intent in just careering along spending more and making the same mistakes.
I don't know what this traffic broker thing is but I do know this.. pretty much all of us followed a similar path (if not as expensive!) at the begining. Jumping from one scheme to another. I wrote in another post of my early experience with MLM marketing and it is pretty much accepted that only a very few really make it in that field and they tend to be the ones invited in at the start.
I really think you need to look back over what you have doe so far and ask yourself some hard questions. What is the pattern? You stumble on a convincing sales page that seems very promising with pictures of smiling faces and stories of success but clearly that hasn't happened for you. Not once but multiple times. Why? Did you not work hard enough? Do you not have the necessary skills?
In my own experience it was because I didn't fully appreciate that in order to truly have an online business, you have to have an online business model.
A business model consists of a target market, a product (whether your own, affiliate or a service), a method of delivery (website, blog, email, facebook, ebay etc) and a traffic system.
By far the best way to find a business model is to find what is truly working for people at your own level of experience and ability and copy it.
Yes network marketing works for some but you need to really stop for a bit before you pour more money and, more importantly, more time into yet another scheme.
Personally, if you were my best friend and told me your story I would tie you to the nearest large object until you told me you had changed your mind.
Take a good few weeks out and look around this forum, read everything and then make a decision.
I wish you all the best
