What are the products that helped you the most?

Maybe it's a good idea to start with a product you know and honor, thus are able to promote it wholeheartedly?

affiliate marketing is a great start and is what i did.I would say promote get more momentum, they pay 100% commissions on front and back ends and up to 200% commissions too on some of there products ,incredible and the product is amazing value and the tactics work so your customers will be raving about you for months.

Take Consistent Action, do something all the time, weather it traffic building to your website. You see, most people know what to do but they still search for the answers if you have a website and know how to build traffic than build it don't search for new or better way other wise you will just get caught up all the time and never actually do anything. I do agree it's good to learn more information but do something first then study.

A key factor for affiliate marketing or any business really is to take consistent action, from monday to friday do something. Make a schedule, it helps a lot.
It sounds like you are definitely in the correct direction just take action.

You actually do not need to purchase any more products that have money claims in them. You'll need to get back to the basics of Internet marketing. I personally recommend that you start studying the science of copywriting to improve your writing skills and conversions for your campaigns online.

Whether you know it or not copywriting is relevant in every single article, video, podcast, blog post that you create. Pulling people in and getting them to do the desired action is a form of copywriting at its finest.

What I suggest you do is pick an area of traffic generation that your skill sets matches up with. I personally like doing article and video marketing with a little bit of forum marketing on the side.

To build your list you will need to offer extreme value and have an enticing offer that converts at least 25% or higher getting leads. Test and track to enhance your results. Google analytics and optimizer is great for that. To be able to still do search engine optimization and build a list you can put a lightbox pop-up with a irresistible headline for your free gift on your website.

You will need to stick to this business model day after day and do not by any other make money online types of products. If you're going to buy products then buy from experts who are teaching you skills instead of making a claim of how much money you will be making.

Something to be wary of is setting your expectations too high too soon. Today I was listening to a super-affiliate talking about creating blogs and being happy if they make a sale per month.

Personally I think that's a great mindset to start with... now you have something you can improve (ie. get more sales from the same site) or scale and repeat using multiple sites.

Finally... do your own thing. The same affiliate (I'm liking him more and more) said some of his blogs only make 1 sale per 700 hops... he's doing 6 figures (apparently) and I believe him.

You need to pick an aria you are interested in,and start promoting it. Start building your list.Very Important.Keep an eye on the forum and when you can join the War Room.

1) Focus on traffic FIRST, learn how to get it. Email buying & SEO are the best.
2) Get into a super competitive niche, don't listen to "guru's" regarding this.
3) Use the traffic to build your list. List building is your #1 goal.
4) Become an email marketer, treat list like GOLD, google "Agora business model"

Firstly, take the advise given by others here on article writing. If you haven't already open a Twitter account do so. Build at least a 1,000 niche targeted followers minimum. In fact to get really good returns aim for 20,000 plus followers. Then write loads of articles on your niche subject and keep tweeting them. If the articles are informative and helpful then sales will come too. It's what I do and it works for me.

The best piece of advice I could give you is first create a free report to give away, and then link your giveaway to the product related to what you want to sell.

Then buy yourself a solo ad, you can find some good ones on safe-swaps.com that are reasonably priced, and build your list. Without a list you will struggle long term, but also take action everyday on your business, otherwise it will never grow.

First of all you should learn how to attract targeted traffic to your website. The best you is to learn SEO, you can then easily monetize. Give value to your prospects, they will make you rich. Good Luck.

For the same amount of work it takes to get traffic once, you can build a list and have targetted traffic any time, so I highly recommend you build lists.

As for products, sell what people are already buying to make life easier on yourself and something with not too much competition so you can "win" at something.

Once you have a site, you just need targetted traffic so that it converts.

All newbies come to find out that all the products that promise the moon don't really do what they say and they end up either leaving IM or getting real and then start to build a real business.

I can start a brand new site and start building a list in one day and in a month have it making me a good amount of money, but I finally figured out how to do this after buying a bunch of other stuff that didn't work.

Stick with it, read some other threads on here for newbies by searching the word "newbie". There has been a lot of great advice on everything.

you need a targeted plan of action!

My best bit of advice i could give you is look for a mentor and coach!

I messed around for about 12 months online trying to make a go of it and only made about $1000 in that time. As soon as i got a mentor (a while back) my earnings and ability went through the roof in no time!

There is so much good advice on here, but I think it comes down to two things.....taking consistent action and not having too high an expectation. The one helps the other.
