One Youtube Channel per account?

I always thought you could only have one youtube channel per youtube account, but recently somebody's comment made me think I was wrong all the time.

Is it possible to create separate channels in one youtube account?
#account #channel #youtube

As far as I know, you can only have one channel per Google account... But I'd love to be proved wrong on it though!

I've never tried it before but I think you can buy verified Google accounts. Maybe on Fiverr or maybe even here on the forum????

And you can also start all the Google accounts you want. I have over two dozen. It's not a violation of Google's TOS, and they actually encourage it.

          Touche.

I was just kinda randomly responding to a random thread but I shall remain silent on such things in the future.

Thanks for keeping me in check. I like your posts and can learn a lot from your experience.

Not really the point. There are good reasons to buy a verified account, but they mostly boil down to Google saying you can't open another account. If you've not been told this, just fill out the forms. A lot of people are completely unaware that you can have lots of Google accounts, because you're only allowed to have one Google AdSense account.

Well, more accurately, you're allowed to have one Google AdSense account per taxable entity. I think the same applies to AdWords. Basically you can have one account for each tax return you file at the end of the year.

Hi I am a YouTube Publisher and I have been making videos over the last 2 years. Let me assure you as told by Google Employees that you can only have 1 YouTube Channel per Google Account when you are starting out. Once you are accepted for the YouTube Partner Program then you will be allowed to have Multiple YouTube Channels, not before that I hope this helps.

For now, it is one youtube account = one channel.
But but no one knows what the future hold. They may make it one account, multiple channels. It will be a very good feature to have though.

That's great to know! Thanks for sharing this. Apparently so many of us don't know about this...
Although I never have seen the screenshot or any evidence, this guy I talked earlier was talking about creating different youtube channel for different niches "without going into creating different account for each niches".

That was one of my concern too, and thank you for clarifying that.

That's odd. Why would you want to serve different niches fromthe same channel? When you look at video/Youtube marketing, the more keywords you can get for starters, the better.

Gmail accounts are free, so are Youtube accounts. When you have keyword in channel name + video name + URL of product=link, it's worth the effort.

This was also my question and I got answer here. Before getting chance to join Google Partner Program, it is not possible to have more than 1 channel under 1 google account.

I am a YouTube partner and I don't see a way to create another channel under the account that I have, though this certainly doesn't mean it isn't possible. We just set up two different Google accounts for our two channels which is perfectly fine and both channels are partners, though we have separate contracts for each.

One cool feature that you get as a YouTube Partner (not sure if others can do this) is the ability to create show pages so that each of our SHOWS are split up onto separate pages (and users can subscribe to their favorites but don't have to subscribe to all of our content). This is really nice because every view on these show pages and every new subscriber to these show pages is reflected on our channel page as well.

We do have a lot of crossover between what each of our shows do, so we can create music playlists/fashion playlists/gaming playlists etc. on our main channel as well.
